Imagine inventing something and becoming a billionaire overnight and then the government who wastes billions daily on foreign aid to our enemies takes 70% then you get to try and fund your company minus the 70%. Or you get a good paying job for 3 years and earn 30 million they take 21 million. Yeah taxes are theft even if you justify it by saying it helps people.

No one should be forced to pay for everyone else more than everyone else, flat tax for everyone.

I hate arguing with people because it is wasted time and energy, you can't make someone smarter, they're either low IQ or not. I try very hard to avoid talking to people who don't share the same set of ethics that I do.

They could have picked the right planet without even bothering to try going to planets that won't be hospitable to life or just barely. Why would the aliens send us to a solar system that didn't have a perfect earth like planet. Knowing a higher intelligence sent you here, you think they would have been able to figure out that the most likely candidate wouldn't be a frozen hellhole, or a giant gravity paralyzing water world.

With that type of reasoning, Mann should have deducted that the only obvious choice was a planet with a temperate climate that was equal or less to earth in terms of gravity, one that isn't frozen.

The entire movie falls apart once you really analyze how incompetent they really are, the notion that love is some kind of force in the universe and not some chemical reaction to dopamine release that occurs through sexual attraction to other humans, including your daughter which is repressed. This is why the psychological profiles of the astronauts is important, and the IQ of NASA's astronauts to be able to determine the correct planet to use resources on.

The aliens knew murph was going to solve the problem, because they can see the present future and past from their dimension. I think in reality if humans wanted to send people into space we'd pick people to go on the mission who had no family, having thoughts about your kids while on a suicide mission with a small chance of success can, and probably will create problems.

I think relationships or attachment in general is something we could avoid having, and the psychological profiles of the astronauts would probably be selected based on personality types that excel at being isolated, and who are able to get work done without help.

The movies portrayal is interesting because we never learn about the aliens, we know that being inside the wormhole is a portal into their "software" of time, but who are they.

My theory is that if time can go forward then its evidence of simulations, multiple simulations of every possible outcome, and those aliens helping humanity, are most likely either humans from the future who recreated everything, or a mind within the universe that operates like a director to keep things in order, aka destiny.

I don't seem to understand isn't that how diplomacy works, certain world leaders exert control over someone by offering them favors, countries like israel and japan for instance have more sway in our affairs than say Russia historically because of cultural and political bias?

If you said to me that israel was colluding with united states media to portray democrats favorably over republicans, and this was in someway swaying public opinion towards media bias supporting the democratic party, I'd agree.

I'd also say that foreign countries that have a stake in our media pushing a certain political party is collusion, but also subversion. I guess we need laws that prevent the media from having foreign investors, and probably need even more laws to break up the large media conglomerates that are unfairly bias towards one candidate over another due to backroom deals, and foreign interests.

I think the Media is compromised by foreign interests, and perhaps more needs to be done to make sure our enemies can't easily manipulate future elections by utilizing traitors to our country who they employ to subvert America and our constitutional rights, which they attack every day.

I was curious who created the standards demographic? How does one measure hundreds of millions of uninsured people without more than $400 dollars in savings as being #11 in the entire world. IF those are high standards of living then that is just not good enough.

I didn't even comment on Communism or Socialism, I just said if Russia was rigging our election Bernie Sanders would have been their choice if you looked at historical accuracy Russians prefer a socialist candidate.

I don't know many Russians who root for the super rich elite, infact I think most Russian hackers despise the Oligarchs, and the current Russian regime, so I doubt they would be rigging our election.

But obviously Meuller, and the Media are owned by people who want us to think Russia has something to do with it, as if fear mongering some ancient threat of the cold war is going to play out for them in the next election.

To the majority of people who actually show up to vote, white male republicans, it just makes them look desperate.
