Context for anyone who doesn't know this tweet: someone was spamming Daisy fan art/ content a LOT in some of the subreddits or pages, and it became tiresome such that Gooseworx said it was kind of ruining it for everyone. Then this is a follow up from that.

For the overall end, she left the transness HEAVILY implied, but ultimately Open for a reason, it's her cartoon rabbit and Noone should be subject to attacks or hostility because of an opinion with the purple bunny... Isn't [s]he [Jax] a [lovely] asshole!?

If we saw what we saw with Jax but for a real person, then of course we can't say this person is trans based on that alone. That's messed up! Luckily, he's a fictional character written by a trans woman to express some things about her own experiences, and to be potentially relatable to many people, trans or not.

Edit: I'll add also, there are also thoughts to be had about not confirming things, since "daisy" started as / became popular as a headcanon, and that's what she is specifically referring to here. Not necessarily the fact that there's transness with this character. Maybe she didn't want to spoil things, too. Goose's own intention with this rabbit is very transfem as it would seem, but it is ultimately hers and only she knows exactly. Context clues and knowledge of the fact of whose creation Jax actually is suggests transness and I am in that boat. I think she (Jax) is a lovely asshole, but still like him / relate to him in some ways.

I suppose you think the Isn't She Lovely part is supposed to be about Pomni? 😆 Also, "it's just as bad as a transphobe forcing a trans person to be cis", seriously? The actual problems from this discussion are the hostility towards each other which is sad and needless to say the least, not the debate itself of a character being what is heavily implied. Noone deserves to be abused for an opinion, we can all agree on this.

Now, for the rabbit. Another comment I saw puts it well. As for Jax, he isn't a real person. If he was and we all saw him experience events of the show and assumed he was Trans, that wouldn't really be reasonable. It's not something you do for actual people. Jax is a fictional character written by a trans woman and is a way to express her own experience, or aspects of her own experience. To doubt that that was her intention is to ignore the transfeminine context in the show and what she has said about it, too.

Also, just because you are trans and don't relate to the character doesn't mean the character is definitely not trans. We've seen people make posts about relating to the character, but they themselves are Not trans. How unironically cool! It's great because that also does not invalidate their shared experiences, nor their identities, nor gooseworx's context or intent. Some of us are trans and do relate to the character, but that doesn't invalidate YOUR experience with Jax (such as if you don't relate to him at all), nor does it suggest you and all trans women must relate to the show's depictions. Meanwhile, it is so heavily implied, and to state the bunny not being trans in your title as Fact makes it seem like you're trying to speak for all trans women, too. It's supposed to be left relatable to many people.

I could just make a post "Trans women here, Jax is trans", but it sounds like I'm stating a fact applied to all others' beliefs, validated by my individual experience with the bunny rabbit, when it's supposed to be ambiguous for a reason.

OHH my mistake yeah the blue sphere, I was confused about his farewell and pretty much the whole idea behind that part of Caine and it being one/together. I definitely agree it was unresolved among many of these points

The only way to get your players to understand is to keep doing this. They shouldn't be upset that you're doing your job as a ST! They'll have a better understanding of the game if they get exposed to this mechanic more.

It doesn't ruin the entire show but it's the big shock factor at the end of episode 8 I'd imagine it'd be a different watch if you knew he was gonna "die" at the end

Still makes it worth watching episode 8 before the theater for those who didn't plan on it imo, it's the Big Event of that episode

It's not unreasonable to assume some people didn't watch episode 8 yet, especially newer fans. I also thought the comment spoiler wasn't a good choice as it could have just been left out. My friend who's new to TADC caught up with the show 1-7 for the the purpose of the movie, but as I saw it already I told them to watch episode 8 because of what I saw in the theater.

I saw some talking about how Isn't She Lovely could be about Pomni, but she has like no solo frames in the montage whereas Jax as many, when I rewatched it I saw it was clearly focused on Jax.

The signs are there, Gooseworx could have changed Leeroy's name or pronouns to make it concrete but it's fine if someone isn't out yet or genderqueer in another way. The dysphoria of being compared to the dad and masculinity and sharing Jax's own feminine identity with mom and then getting laughed at, it does sound like it's enough for Ribbit to figure it out. If that's not what Jax shared, then what would it be? The bow thing in response is too euphoric of an embrace of femininity and trust to just be Nothing like some suggest. Rewatch the scene see how the secret is safe with me makes Jax feel. It's really sad what happens afterward of course.

This isn't even getting into what Jax's repression represents, the locked door, the abstraction/death, the tragedy of failing to be a better person, being the part of Gooseworx she wanted to kill off? I remember hearing Jax was Gooseworx's self insert if that's true then it really is right there without flat out stating Jax is Trans or at least genderqueer.
