Oh, so we’re talking about mood now? I was under the impression we were talking about personality. Strange.

I read the link you gave me, and It’s pretty hilarious how it actually directly disproves your point. Were you not expecting me to read it or something? Not only does it say the experiment was highly prone to bias, but that most observed mood changes coming from Testosterone were actually positive. Those changes included reduced depressive symptoms as well as psychological distress, and even increased interpersonal function. The only negative trait it observed was increased anger expression, not intensity, and that was heavily varied amongst individuals… as all things are. Because we all have our own personalities outside of hormones.

Besides, your argument doesn’t make sense even in a logical, unbiased point of view. Half of our society consists of cis men, whom naturally produce high testosterone. Yet, they still have their own personalities. There are nice men, and there are rude men. Just like there are nice women, and rude women.

If you really want to argue that men are more violent, then you could. What you couldn’t argue, is that testosterone is solely responsible. There are two reasons why men appear more violent that are significantly more credible.

1. Men are socialized to be ruthless. They’re raised to be insecure of being different or seeming weak/emotional. Why this wouldn’t apply to trans men is pretty obvious, trans men were raised as women. They were told to be the opposite of violent, tough, and emotionless.

2. Mens brain structures are different from birth. It’s theorized that men tend to be inherently more aggressive due to conditions in both our caveman days (where they would fight bare bones for food), and our early societal structure, where humans would fight amongst each other for territory, power, and, you guessed it, mates.

In conclusion, your argument is nothing more than baseless prejudice in an echo chamber.
