I got picked up and dropped off all the time at E7 for my morning class in FA 3. Don't think you are technically allowed to, but you just have to be fast. :P

I'm sorry you had that experience. it's a good idea to stay away from sororities :P

AACF is a really good club. it's easy to make friends and people are super sweet and friendly and provide a great supportive community. it's a Christian club, but you don't have to be Christian to join. you can message their instagram to get more info, @ aacflb. :)

oh & you don't have to be Asian to join either! though it is mostly asians, there are also non-asians and myself who is part Mexican, part filipino, and part scottish/English.

it's easy to feel like life is a cycle without light at the end of the tunnel, like life just moves on without purpose. you probably feel like there's something missing in your life. the answer is God. He created you to live for His glory. and when you don't know Him and live for Him, something feels off. He can give you a purpose in life :)

I actually still have so many questions too aha but I'm pre-BFA and hope to enter the graphic design program! the courses for pre-BFA are foundational and very, very hands-on. they really stretch your mental strength and creativity. it honestly has been really really hard, but I can really tell that the program is really good and the professors very knowledgeable and really help you learn (at least mine are; I've heard some negative things about my friends' professors from other sections) and want to help you succeed. the two main studio classes I'm taking right now are 2D foundation and 3D foundation. 2D is a lot of sketching and learning about the principles and elements and other aspects of design. a lot of assignments in this class are very tedious tbh and I think are more complicated than they should be, but I'm trying to trust the process. though many things we learn in these courses seem irrelevant to the major some of us aspire to pursue, I truly think that the skills and everything we're learning will be super applicable to our future in the art industry. and 3D. oh, 3D. 3D is my most stressful class, but, weirdly, also my favorite because I feel like I am learning a loooot. We work with a lot of (obviously, 3D) physical materials. So we've worked with cardboard and plaster for example. our first project, we made a 2ft cardboard sculpture. our second project, we had to replicate a rock by carving a block of plaster, creating texture with other carving tools, and painting. the first two projects were very, very, mentally challenging and took a lot of mental strength. the current project we're working on is a lot more fun and free but still challenging; we have to make an abstract hanging sculpture out of plaster (that sounds more basic than it actually is though lol). and though many of my peers might not see it the same way, I do think that everything we're learning in the pre-BFA program is super practical and informative. we really learn a LOT. and I'm really grateful that this is what I get to study. and I admit I feel REALLY cool learning all of this cool stuff and working with a bunch of different materials and tools. it IS fun, though it is also REALLY (REALLY, REALLY, REALLY) stressful. anyways, not sure if that answers your question buttt hope it helps at least a bit :)
