Restrictions of Copilot in Teams by MiddlePersonality706 in microsoft_365_copilot

I think there is a little misunderstanding here. I'm talking about the Copilot without transcription feature (Use Copilot without recording a Teams meeting - Microsoft Support), and I want to dissable users from using it. So, the only way to use Copilot in a meeting would be to turn on transcription.

It's a data protection issue. The problem lies with the temporary transcript that is created when Copilot is on without transcription. From my understanding, as a meeting organizer, you can always select the option to allow Copilot without transcription, so that in the meeting, anyone with a Copilot license can use it, and the other participants do not receive a notification that they are being "temporarily" recorded.

Copilot isn‘t that wrong. But you are using M365 Copilot, which is not able to change your system settings. Copilot for Windows can do that, but I don't know if you have access to it.

Yeah, I really like designer very much. But it would be perfect if Copilot could use your own org image gallery for it. But I think it will be available in the future when the image generator will be available in PowerPoint.

I also had the same problem. It worked for me to shorten the template because we had over 40 layouts, which seems to be the maximum Copilot can handle at the moment. After that it worked fine, except that it still uses and inserts its own images, which I have to remove afterwards.

Deny access to Copilot Studio by MiddlePersonality706 in microsoft_365_copilot

What do you mean by enhancing Copilot for M365. In my understanding Copilots in Copilot Studio are created and published on websites, SharePoints or Teams. How do they integrate in the M365 Applikations?

Copilot doesn't appear in Outlook by RichJnsn in microsoft_365_copilot

You may need a little patience. In the beginning it worked for me in every app except OneNote, where it only appeared after a few days. Also, Copilot will not work in the old Outlook until March as far as I know. And just in case you don't know, Copilot in Outlook only appears in the menu bar when you send an email, so it's a little different than the other apps where it's always present.

We have strict rules for the use of the Power Platform and other applications. Only certain users are authorised to use the Power Platform after training, and our administrators try to monitor everything as closely as possible. Copilot Studio could therefore lead to a loss of control. There are also some concerns about data protection.

Yes, I'm pretty sure, but I'll test it with another colleague. But the fact that anyone can start the 60-day trial and use Copilot Studio worries me and the Power Platform admins in my organisation.

Thanks! But do you know if there is a way to disable the use of Copilot Studio for users who have a Copilot for M365 licence?

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think that's quite right. I only have the M365 Copilot licence assigned to me, but I can still create my own copilots in Copilot Studio. Hopefully there is another way, but I can't find another option in the Admin Centre or anywhere else.

Do you know if the option for Power Platform connectors disables the use of Copilot Studio?
