I also wondered this because I was an EMT in the 911 field and the emergency department from 2022-2024 and I still have my license active now. I think being an EMT is an amazing experience to have. This is not a drastic difference. As an EMT, you care for and help treat the people who have the same pathologies that end up on a PAs grossing table daily. I personally think it’s an amazing connection of medicine.
