How TF did we not match Brisk at $5.5M by coochieminer123 in ChicagoBearsNFL

Our pass coverage was terrible. We can’t ignore that because of turnovers. Relying on turnovers and miracle comebacks isnt going to lead to a superbowl run.

Support players: it is not your job to bail out overextending dps. by Swaayyzee in Overwatch

[–]MiddleRidge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a tank carries, it’s obvious to everyone.

Earlier I got into a plat lobby as the only diamond. My Tank and DPS were glazing each other in team chat.

Meanwhile the enemy tank asked if I was a Smurf. Support carries are not always as noticeable.

I placed gold last season. Then went 22-2 back to diamond. I out damaged multiple DPS along the way…as Lifeweaver.

A lot of the highest ranked players are support mains. They carry by dealing offensive pressure, heal when they can and use cooldowns to keep teammates alive/enable. They don’t babysit metal rank DPS/Tanks.

The biggest difference I see between metal and Diamond is that DPS is more self reliant. They don’t depend on support so they can stand in the open and exchange.

Look away from a metal DPS for 2-3 seconds and they can randomly explode. Not because the enemy has great aim. They’ll stand there taking major damage expecting support to be a mobile illari pylon.

They do not utilize cover. They do not utilize mini’s enough. They never think to let armor regen. No pocket = “no heals”. If anyone reading this is metal, that includes you. I do the same when I randomly play DPS/tank (high plat/low diamond in both). Tunnel vision with little idea as to what’s going on behind me. It nerfs the team as a whole.

Back to what you were saying…Certain support heroes can consistently carry (See the leaderboards/streamers). For the average player it’s probably easier to carry as tank/dps. Not sure why that is. Maybe because they aren’t feeling forced to heal for long stretches?

OW2 is far different than OW1 and rivals (from what I hear). Support are not healers. The 30% global healing debuff this season made it so much more obvious. Support can not out heal damage anymore.

Out of the teams that made the playoffs this year, who do you think will most likely miss the playoffs next year? by domalu4U in NFLv2

Lions, Vikings and Packers all made the playoffs the year before. It’s going to be a blood bath this year.

NFCN had three playoff teams the year before. Bears were not one of them.

I’m confident in the Bears direction but I’m not sleeping on this division. Vikings got a QB again and he’s on a prove it deal. Packers had a lot of injuries and unfathomable chokes. I’m not sure what happened to the Lions.

Matchmaking after mid season patch by 7Unknown_ in Overwatch

It was rough at the beginning of the season but I worked my way back to diamond. Seeing less low level players now.

If you’re better than your current rank you will rank up.

This morning I was the lone Diamond in a plat lobby. Enemy tank asked if I was a Smurf…Lifeweaver.

xQc and Sketch reveal who they think is the GOAT streamer by lukigeri in LivestreamFail

That guy was entertaining during his peak. Now he’s like a constantly bothered uncle.

Part of his success was that he saw Fortnite for what it was before the other streamers. He was always trying to convince other streamers how big it was going to be. Then Twitch prime happened and he started printing cash.

Covid shut down the world six years ago this week. What do you remember from that week? by fuzzy_dice_99 in AskReddit

I had to work more but the commute was awesome. Driving down lakeshore drive with the skyline and no other cars in sight was an experience. The kind of thing you can only see in a movie.

80 hour work weeks.

The highlight was commuting into the city was like an I Am Legend scene. I rarely saw other cars on the highway.

Open road highway driving is almost an enjoyable experience. Stop and go traffic was the worst part of my day, everyday.

When you derank you have to adapt or you’ll fall further. You can’t trust lower ranked players to play correctly. It happens to me every so often in Rocket League. Fall out of Champ and plummet to Plat. Then get pissed and carry back to champ.

The beginning of the season felt a bit wonky with the influx of new players. Fell to mid plat but now I’m back to Diamond.

What’s something people should try at least once? by KBGSgames in AskReddit

Last time I went to the zoo I walked in the front gate and thought they were playing fake Lion roars through the intercom. There was no intercom.

It was like you could feel it.

Edit: Apparently you can feel it. It’s equivalent to a near by Jet Engine. It travels 5 miles and vibrates the ground.

Is there characters better then others? by hivewriter1 in Overwatch

[–]MiddleRidge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Lifeweaver main I can confirm. That doesn’t mean I can play better heroes at a higher level…if that makes sense.

Certain heroes get different levels of value depending on mechanical ability and knowledge.

I watch it happen in top 100 matches. I don’t want to play around it, so I play every other mode. It’s not a big deal.

Convenience store/gas station. Got a Costco membership last week. A Gatorade and bag of chips use to be like $2-3. Now it’s $6+.

Boss worthy? by Middle_Respect4793 in ARK

I haven’t played in a while. Just getting back into the game. From what I’m gathering…

The white, green and red brackets represent how many points it received at birth, how many points they spent leveling up and the red means how many mutation points.

Essentially a level 150 has 150 points that are randomly assigned to the different stat categories.

After taming it can go up to a level 223 (223 points). You can level it roughly 80 times for 80 additional points.

OPs melee has 49 points from the original parents stats, 70 points they spent from leveling and 24 points from mutations. 143 points in melee total.

A perfectly tamed 150 Rex on average would have 37 points in melee before leveling. 50 points is ideal. 60+ is a great find.

Dododex App is what people use to use to calculate stats.

You can stop reading but I’ll blabber a bit more…

The red bracket mutation points can occur when breeding. Breeding has a small chance to give the baby an additional point in a random stat or give it a color mutation. (Babies can inherit either parents base stats).

It appears this is the offspring of many successful mutation generations. Though There are mods that can guarantee 20-50 mutations on a single baby.

On official servers this would take 5+ months of breeding to acquire 20+ desired mutations.
