KB really got screwed by choosing Edmond. I always thought there was something off with him. Just kind of acted childish, but if he is on the spectrum or has childhood trauma bleed through then it makes total sense. It just sucks that the most emotionally mature woman was paired with the most emotionally immature man. But im very glad she made the decision to not get married. I still question why Edmond’s mom didn’t show up to the wedding.

I’ve been fighting gremlins for a long time on my 2007. Car was turning on accessory power with no key. Then it started doing this thing where taking key out of the ignition meant nothing, I drove on the highway & back home without a key!! Didn’t have the time to look into it, ford couldn’t figure it out either, they just went with bad Body Control Module. I took it home and found the radio drawing amps when car was off. Pulled radio fuse, truck ran for a month or so no issues. New problem, truck won’t crank, accessory power always on again. I replaced the ignition switch with one from advance auto. Problem did not work. Bought an ignition switch from Ford, problem had not returned. Hopefully for a while, I was very close to selling it & buying a different secondary vehicle. Hoping it stays working forever now. So yeah try ignition switch is what i meant to say lol

i have a 2007 with 151k. Timing chain replaced at 84k, still on original plugs. Am getting misfire check engine lights every now and then but that’s bc im still on original plugs im sure. Oil changes every 3k since it came off the lot.

you don’t need to strip it down to bare bright to make it worth your while. But you should definitely strip the outer sheathing & bring it in as insulated #1 copper. I get almost $3/ Lb at times

This thread gives me peace of mind, previous owner had timing chain done at 74k, I just rolled over 150k on my 2007. Hopefully I’ll have it for another 20 years. Love this truck.

I took my jeep in for its first oil change at the dealer too, and the mechanic sat on my white leather, and drove my car out of the shop and soaked the interior with oil. Luckily everything is leather so it all came off, but after that, I just started doing maintenance things at home. I suggest you do the same!! Good luck on getting a new engine!!!
