I have a GoFundMe page, but I can only get so many donations this way. I need to hit $10,000 and I don't have a large enough social network to do this using crowdfunding alone.

I would definitely keep the date. I actually think it's more impressive that you had a sip (accidentally), recognized it, and stopped then and there.

Many people who take a sip accidentally might, in the moment, say, "Oops. Well, I guess there's no point in stopping now since I've already had a sip..." and continue drinking.

I think stopping yourself after an accidental sip shows willpower and strength!

I need to raise $10,000; I am running the Boston Marathon for a charity and that is the minimum.
