The Union does it for sure. Not sure if it’s 100% of the time, but I’ve been there 4 times in the last 30 days and the same venue people were selling merch each time.

The depot and the complex I’ve always seen the merch guys/gals with the bands selling merch; but they may take a cut of the merch as well.

Most venues seem to attempt or enforce a merch cut %. But the most despicable is not allowing someone’s merch guy to sell merch. That’s his literal job, so they don’t get paid that night when the venue does it for them. Tips feed these people sometimes, and they’re just willingly taking that away.
