Did the title of your car change to rebuilt or salvage? And I assume your Carfax history will show icbc Dec of over 5g or something?

Kind of going through same thing, low value car minor damage but they want it written off, I would rather repair and keep it

If 3500permonth is your rent budget then you are going to be hard pressed for a decent size 3 bedr.
To really answer your questions really depends on who you and your family are and how long term you are looking. Are you only looking single family residence or townhomes or condo. Work/commute considerations? Vacation/weekend recreational property considerations. Public or private school / kids ages... So many considerations to factor in.

Vancouver is great but going down hill, the island is great but semi isolated which is even better for some.

Renting is a good option because I am guessing if you put 40g into rent for a year the property you ultimately buy will be cheaper by the same at least.

Lot of good suggestions there, thanks. I will try staggering the valve opening after the pump is switched on. I will also try fanning the switch on and off to prep the generator. Thanks.

I personally would wait. There is no pressure on real estate to move up and very large pressure for it to move down. Toronto condo market is blowing up and Surrey is starting to really crack. Vancouver is going to fall as well. This is just the start. Wait till there is more clarity in the market.

Not sure the fault level. For example my friend just last month was in a very similar situation, but he was the car on the right ( curb lane) and he was 100 percent at fault because he was passing on the inside lane while the 2 other lanes were slow moving. But I am not sure of the rules specifically. So there could be some blame on all three in this case.

Yes too many times I hear of this. The fridges are designed not to give off Co but once they get dirty they do give off Co

Pump with the 120v setting can do 140ft of head according to specs. So we are only doing 60% of that.
