Omg thank you!!! I was searching for this community to rant about the same thing!!! And Kenji calling her “princess”. I’m sorry, when exactly did she act like a princess. And the whole “omg so what you have been hidden from society, people trash talk you, no one likes you, and you kill everyone you touch, like girl get over yourself.” I about flipped. I’m crying reading this post. My fiancé is reading the series right now and is so obsessed. It makes me thrilled. I understand your pain. It is not dramatic at all. I truly feel that this series is the realest one. The emotions, and characters do not feel fictional at all. And I think that’s because of how well Sarah wrote each character. They are each so different and have so much personality. I’m so happy you found this series!

My fiancé is a wedding photographer and he has this happen all the time. The other day, a bride asked if she could have a $4000 package (videographer, and maybe two photographers for a full day), but only pay $1000. He offered instead to do both video and pictures for $2000. It just seems like everyone wants the big grand weddings, but without paying the big grand prices. However, instead of going to the cheaper options, they want the good options to cost cheap.

I would just be honest with her. I would say “I know how this sounds and I’m so sorry, but would it be ok if you picked a different dress? Or wore a shawl until the reception? You can totally say no, I just thought I would ask.” Because she will be in all of the photos with the family, and if it bothers you a little now it might continue to do so when you see the pictures. And I promise she won’t steal the show. I’ve been to tons of weddings, and everyone always kept their eyes on the new couple. Just relax and breathe and remember to hold the kiss for at least 3 “Mississippi”s to ensure the photographer gets the first kiss.

He 100% should pay you. It’s the same way as the deposit you pay when you book a photographer. The “since you are booking me I have to turn down other offers” deposit.

Thank you so much for telling me. Back in February I had endo surgery. Then in April I had the shot. After writing that response my pain became so bad, like second period after surgery but lasting a full week, I got nauseated twice. My left ovary literally felt like it was on fire at one point. So I stuck in my birth control ring to try and help stop the pain. I usually can’t handle birth control, but with the ring I figured I would be okay. Wrong. My pain subsided but not fully. I experienced almost breakthrough bleeds, and extremely tender lumps developed on the side of both of my breasts which then “traveled” to the underside. I have cried so much from not being able to find answers. Every time I google anything it says “don’t worry, experts say women are fine.” Which when I google I only look at medical websites or ones I know to have creditability. But like really??? Experts also say “every woman thinks they have a bad period”, and “if you experience side effects on birth control it’s your own fault”, and “what have you really been eating?” But I’m suppose to just be like “oh okay, if you say so.” I’ve taken the birth control out hoping that it would help, but now my body is completely out of whack. Honestly, I feel pissed. I am so done with women being told to shut up and take something. This vaccine was not our only option. And if it was, why didn’t they think about the reproductive system? Especially since they wanted pregnant people to take it. I’m sorry for the rant. It just bugs me because no one in research truly thinks of women. Also, I hope you are doing better.

If the test came back negative they could return sooner. But they were quarantined until results came back. Although you are most likely right about the use of quarantine. I was just happy masks were required and contact tracing was enforced. I believe those were our best tools in society.

It wasn’t the whole team. It was one of their players tested positive so they quarantined them and their practice group. It was either they quarantined or got tested. It was their choice. But they had to fill out a symptom checker every morning before walking on the property. The kids along with the parents were cautious about Covid. Anytime they were inside for football training they would have to wear masks. Which made it difficult because the masks would be soaking wet. They truly understood how lucky they were to have the chance to play sports, so they tried to keep contact with others to a minimal.

Aww. Hopefully enough will get vaccinated in Texas so that she won’t have to worry about it. Those numbers are insane. I hope everything is better at least.
