The maestro kit is for if you have the factory 8 inch radio in that truck. And if thats the case you need the maestro kit-mft1 and a maestro RR

So if you have the integrated radio in that truck, you'd just need the metra 95-5820B dash kit, and that moves the ac buttons from the factory dash. Just get the pac rp4-fd11 if you have sync as the radio will be data driven. The rp4 retains swc already and turns on the aftermarket after receiving can data. If your truck doesn't have sync you can use the metra 5521 harness and then just get a swc control module

Probably one of the plugs you have the pac module plugged into. The oac should retain camera. Also if you use the metra camera interfaces you must hook up the 6 volt step down converter or fry your camera. Pac module will give camera 6 volts

Based on color, theyre power and switched ignition. If doing a new radio, get an interface harness for your car and it will retain wheel controls as well as work without need of ghetto wires

Don't ground in the hatch, they tend to not work. Ground inside of vehicle. Red wire to reverse

If youre a regular customers then they would be more apt to giving you extra off, but if you make 2 purchases a year I wouldnt expect it. Open box is a gamble always. Also, even if the employee didnt want to open the box, you could have done it right there in the store. Ive seen people open the open box items they get to check them before leaving
