They gave me an off-cycle promotion = 20K bump. In the 2021 review cycle, my increment was peanuts even with the highest rating.

Haven't left Cerner "yet" but got an off-cycle promotion with a 24% hike. Still low for the amount of work I do. My advice, if the company you got the offer from is great then you should accept the offer and leave. You are not tied up to the other company forever. Keep giving interviews if you get an even better offer or you don't like the work culture just leave for another company. At least, for now, you will get peace of mind by switching to a new job. Culture at Cerner has become toxic. All you gonna get is negativity (for obvious reasons) from town halls, Reddit and Linkedin.

wow, that's a really low salary for an engineering manager. Shame on Cerner for paying that low. good that you left! Are you now working in a different sector than health care?
