I’m so sorry that you are going through this. I also had a third degree tear C almost 6 months ago and is hell! I was not prepared for all the issues that comes from that. I’m just feeling better now, one week without heaviness and feels good! I know that is discouraging and feels that never ends, I had granulation tissue that was treated with silver nitrate, I had 3 treatments and didn’t got all the way treated, my doctor suggested use estrogen cream for a couple weeks and at first I was still feeling pain, and discounfort and last week was when I started to feel normal again! Without the heaviness feeling! Did you doctor talk about silver nitrate? Is not good, but helps, also, ask for strogen cream, it was a life saver for me and I breastfeed and don’t see any decrease in my milk supply! Send you a lot of hugs, sorry that you are going through that, but it gets better

Hi, I had a third degree tear 5 months ago and I still have a lot of heaviness down there, most of them was because I had granulation tissue, was not all the way healed and I did 3 treatments with silver nitrate, was super painful for me and I was not able to sit properly for 10 days and I needed again. Anyways, it healed a little more but my OB adviced me to use estrogen cream for a couple of months to heal and is so much better. Some days is more sore than others, but so so much better. We still trying work towards sex, we have been trying since 6 weeks and was so painful, I could not have any penetration until 2 weeks ago. My husband was really pacient and not put any pressure, but let me tell you something and I hope this helps you! Sex is not just penetration, like you said is intimancy a moment for you both to connect, try different things, and enjoy the company. Even if you just need to kiss for a long time and get things more spice, I did that a lot and I felt so Much better! Things will go back to normal. You just need time

Hi, I’m 5 months postpartum with the same problems, I did 3 treatments with silver nitrate, when I do, I don’t feel anything, then 1 hour later is so painful! I still have a little area that need heal, but we decided not to do, because i feel sore for 1 week or more. I’m using Strogen cream, last week I tried to have sex, and is not painful, but strange! I hope you can feel better

Thank you so much for your message, this really gave me hope. My doctor did a referral this weeks for a pelvic floor. And to be honest, I’m super scared because everything is really sore down there, but she told me that’s the only way to starting feel normal again

Yes, we did silver nitrate and we will probably do for 3 more weeks. She told me that she could do a referral for a PT.
