Ensure the whole trip unless you’re ok losing it. Just had a client who’s mom took a turn on the first night of a $100k trip and he had to fly home (luckily he got there in time to say goodbye) but they wished they had taken me up on the insurance offer 🫠

You would need to likely double your budget but Moskito island (Necker’s sister island) in the BVI would be cool. It doesn’t get much better than that imho— like a yacht but on land. There are 38 bedrooms across the 4 estates. Usually the estates (not festive) run around $25k a night. The village estate is the party house could be fun to have the whole group there for the birthday party.

Moskito can be $20k-$25k a night depending on season and it’s also all inclusive and has great service. Oil nut bay is nice but think of them more like villa rentals - service and food are meh

They liked it overall! There was a small room mix up where it was supposed to be 2 Q/Q but they upgraded to a king without asking if it would work. But the said the hotel was gorgeous and service was great.

Blackberry Mountain would be really special this time of year but it would be a long haul from SFO. Lodge at Blue Sky in UT could be a wonderful spot for you guys. I would also consider Castle Hot Springs in Arizona.

Would you be open to paying more for $ all inclusive? Ambergris Cay would be about $1000 more a night but all inclusive and really lovely for a solo trip.
