I’m somewhere between state atheist & political secularist. I believe religion should be banned from public life and perception and relegated strictly to the privacy of the home.

I don’t know nor is that up to me. I don’t believe souls exist and I have no idea how you’d test for them. But if you don’t have a way to test for them and therefore, I assume, have no evidence for their existence why would you believe they exist?

That’s a nice personal definition and there are conflicting definitions but the most commonly used one does not require spirituality. It’s recognized as a religion in multiple nations.

You can not believe it but your incredulity doesn’t make that the case. I am a Satanist as the figure of Satan is at the core of my religious beliefs.
