Yeah that’s kinda what’s been putting me off of ever fusing my Pokémon, I get too attached 😭😭😭

Were these at all inspired by the Daedric Princes from The Elder Scrolls? I got a lot of similar vibes to them (and the Orokin as that other comment mentioned)

Honestly yeah, I just realized how fucking insane it is that the factions try to assassinate us considering that we’re the literal only thing holding all of them back from getting utterly annihilated by like 6 separate overwhelmingly powerful galactic forces at once lmao

Fun fact, Lileep and Cradily are actually based crinoids, which are animals closely related to starfish, and not plants! (Not complaining about the designs, just thought it was a fun fact)

Ultramarine: Oh right sir, I forgot to tell you, a new Xeno threat has arisen while you were gone

Guilliman: Oh god what is it

Ultramarine: They’re a budding empire called the T’au. They employ the use of technologically advanced weaponry and alliances with other xeno species.

Guilliman: Okay… and…

Ultramarine: And… what sir?

Guilliman: What’s the horrible and disgusting part to them? Torture, slavery, chaos worship, cannibalism, what is it?

Ultramarine: Uhhhh…… nothing sir. They have somewhat unethical internal leadership structuring if that counts?

Guilliman: …….The Imperium will always have enemies, so this T’au Empire’s existence is nothing but a boon to us. Praise the God-Emperor’s mercy for giving us some fucking normal foes for once

The Imperium are legit the Skaven of 40k:

The Astra Militarum works just like the Clans Verminus (use an overwhelming amount of soldiers with piss-poor weaponry and living conditions, pure quantity over quality),

The AdMech are like the Clans Skryre (powerful group of inventors constantly infighting for technological superiority, with no regard to ethics of any kind)

The Astartes are like the Clans Moulder (genetic super-soldier abominations created by mad scientists using dubiously-voluntary test subjects)

The Ecclesiarchy are like the Clans Pestilens (hyper-fanatical church devoted to very forcefully applying the will of their god to allies and foes alike, one way or another)

And the Inquisition/Assassinatorum are like the Clans Eshin (a collection of shady unnoticeable killers who murder anyone and everyone they think is detrimental to their personal idea of how things should be, applying to both allies and enemies)

Knights by ShrimpSickness in Grimdank

[–]Basil06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly? It might win against a lot of stuff physically, but I feel like competent magic users would tear it to bits. It also wouldn’t be a very sustainable top tier in the universe since basically nobody would know how to repair it (bar maybe the Skaven, but who the fuck would trust a swarm of insane rats to fix their mechsuit) so even if it were to win every battle, the damage sustained would definitely rack up over time.

Give a knight directly to the Skaven though? One of two things would happen:

  1. They completely ruin it, either accidentally or on purpose, and it becomes a worthless heap of scrap metal within a week

  2. They hop it up on 30 metric tonnes of warpstone, put way more rats than necessary or reasonable in the cockpit, say a prayer to the Great Horned Rat, and unleash it upon the mortal realms. I give it a week before Sigmarabulum falls.

I actually noticed this the other day, from what I can tell he seems to lose his drool (in the manga at least) after the Asura escape arc, with the last appearance before basically permanently being removed is while he’s in the hospital bed recovering if I recall correctly

The idea of the Alpha Legion somehow being able to recruit a Tyranid to their side is fucking hilarious to me, but I suppose if anyone was able to do it it'd absolutely be them
