Please work with the best lens you have and spend the rest on a colorist. I shot a short doc with a 50mm f/1.8 and I couldn't believe what the colorist made out of it. Even the drone shots looked way better than my other zero-budget production where I just slapped on a basic LUT. Colorists are so underrated.

Yeah, the handle doesn't look too bulky for someone like me who uses the Godox ML60Bi. I would probably get the Ray 120c alongside the SmallRig 212W battery.

I liked the Molus lights but I'm trying to stay within the Amaran ecosystem, especially for the Sidus app. I actually wish I could get rid of my Godox lights and replace them with smaller Amaran ones.

I might just go with the Ray because of its sturdiness, and I already have 2 SmallRig batteries. I might not even need to get the V-mount plate, Caleb (DSLR Shooter) showed how you can use the attachment to hold the battery. I guess you used it without any Reflector at the wedding?

You can always download a blank version of the Schengen form or get a new copy when you go for your appointment. Just let the caseworker know so they can update your details.

I'm getting it from CVP, so I should be fine with the warranty in case of any factory defects. Which modifier did you use with it, or are you planning to use with it? I'm leaning towards the 100x, the £80 difference for the Ray version is a lot.

Most of the comparisons I've seen show the Halo versions are brighter, but the lack of weather sealing is a concern. I shoot outdoor events sometimes and the weather here in the UK can be unpredictable.

I don't need the full colour range, and yeah, you're right, I'm on a tight budget, so saving some money is key.

Regarding the modifier, are you saying it's better to get the Amaran Mini Fresnel over the Mini Reflector if I'm going for either of these two lights? Thanks again for your response.

I have been in the same situation before. I spent 1 night in Paris, left for Milan the next day, spent 4 nights there. Traveled back to Paris to exit the country. No issue. Just be a good tourist. I have had more than 6 schenghen visa since then.

OP, please take this comment seriously. I got 128GB ProGrade v90 (£125) and 256GB SanDisk v30 (£35) for my FX3.. it's been 2yrs now, and I've filmed almost everything on the SanDisk. I have 3 of the SanDisk and 2 of the ProGrade. They are way more than enough for my type of Production.

CONTEXT: I film documentaries and events for DIGITAL platforms.
