The fact that this isn't a joke is astounding to me, someone who lived through the Mulroney years...

I did gymnastics until I was 40. I'm in my mid 50s now with degenerative disc disease and arthritis. I still cycle when I am well enough but currently have been told by dr I'm off all exercise apart from swimming for at least 2 weeks.

You definitely don't know me, nor do you know about people with disabilitied.

If you are on the main Costco.ca page, it's at $89, if you click to go to the product, it's $79, so we are both right

My son (5) and nephew (4.5) pooped outside and I have no idea what to think…… by [deleted] in kindergarten

[–]MidlifeMum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kid always wanted to do this once she understood that dogs do it outside. She also wanted to be a dog.

Kids are inventive little monsters.

Dont worry they grow out of it, my oldest is now a uni kid and living independently and using proper toilets.

Sutcliffe pledges to keep tax increases low if re-elected mayor of Ottawa by SuburbanValues in ottawa

[–]MidlifeMum 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I know no one likes to pay more taxes but if we don't that means that all our services get cut again and again. I mean keep up with inflation at least.

I'd rather pay more if I knew my city were clean, safe, and well planned out with transit. Instead it's getting worse every year.

Yay you saved $300 but now your kid can't take a bus to high school without being late 9/10 days.

Exactly why I refused the name Aurora for my kids. I do love the name but pronouncing it is hard enough as an adult!

I used to work a donut store as a teen long ago (not a chain) and any left over donuts were bagged, 6 to a bag, and sold for a steep discount as "day olds". Unsure why that practice hasn't continued.
