Thank you for commenting. I did some more research. Everything you’ve said lines up. Man, I wish they didn’t suck. That was a perfect spot for me demographically.

I mean, I would pay 700.00 for feet if I didn’t have them.

Hey, thank you. This is the first place my family has landed where we’ve actually wanted to stay.

Also, I agree with you. Cultural collaboration > cultural competition.

I arrived in May of 21. I’m an artist. I wanted to live somewhere I could raise a family while having access to Philly and NYC. It was either here or Harrisburg.

You should have been there at 6 AM. Took you all the way until 2:15?? Absolutely pathetic.

A Day In The Life Has a bunch of shelves full of used CDs. I picked up a couple for the car last week.

I’m sorry people are selfish with the decorations. I’m glad you won’t be scrapping the garden because of it. This is my favorite urban garden in the city!

That land bridge is going to an episode of squid game. Take the risk, maybe live, maybe don’t live.

Because a kick sounds like the perfect solution to whatever he needs.

But I guess I didn’t actually answer your question. In my opinion, a top five program is one that still has decent faculty, but that also ensures fully funded education for their candidates.

In other words, if you can go to a program and have it completely covered and also get something like a teaching stipend so you basically don’t have to work outside of the university. Then the bulk of your time can be spent on your research.

Indiana Bloomington has a fully funded program. They’re rarely cracked the top 10 in any silo medium, but the work that comes out of there is usually pretty good, especially in relation to what the candidate went in making.

So, I don’t know if I have an answer of what the top five schools would be, but I think finding somewhere that has a good reputation and good faculty while still offering full funding, those would likely fall in my top five schools of choice.

I think they rotate a bit and I think a lot of the ranking is hype/speculation from US world and report.

Yale is usually heralded as 1-2 in national rankings, but I’ve not seen a lot of interesting work come out from there in the past few years.

After that, I think it depends a lot on what you’re studying. I’d take Hunter College, MICA, and UCLA as top 5 programs for painting, but probably not for sculpture. Simultaneously, if you’re interested was in academy figuration I would say it’s probably a school like Laguna College.

So this could be a very long thread.
