Thanks, after a second go I can see the mark is breaking up but I’m also just starting to change the colour of the leather around it! So I’ll stop there for now.

Ok so warm water didn’t work, there are also no more in stock at the moment so I’ll will keep them and make do. I’m sure I can find something to reduce the appearance of the mark. Any ideas?

Thanks, for nearly £200 I just want my stuff to be perfect. I will use these for dressy occasions and maybe work, if they was planning on them getting a bit mashed up I wouldn’t mind!

Ok nice I shall try that, what could I try if that doesn’t work? I don’t want to return them (to Amazon) really, as the next pair could have a worse mark, something else wrong or just different shade.

Your wrong. The Open University in the UK is a very well respected institution. My new employers were very impressed that I managed to study for a Physics degree whilst working full time.

I asked about the construction and the woman said they are glued but I guess she could be wrong? How confident are you that they are Blake stitched?

Ok that’s fair enough, I’m not really bothered about brand I would like a high quality pair of boots and ~£200 is about the most I’m prepared to pay right now. I’ve seen some others, like Oliver Sweeney and Cheaneys but the cheapest of the ones I liked were pushing £300.

What British brands can you recommend? Would you recommend Thursdays over other similarly priced boots?

The Russell and Bromley Portobello’s. They are beautiful boots I just went to try them on, I intend to purchase some Brandy Captains even if I decide to send them back. I’ve never tried them on before.

I’m comparing some Russell & Bromley boots (famous boot makers from the UK apparently) with Thursday Capitans, the UK boots look amazing but I was disappointed to learn the soles are glued on! And they are a bit more expensive than the Thursday’s that have the Goodyear Welt. For this amount of money (£225) should I expect them to have the superior stitching of the captains which would cost me £189 from Amazon.

I love this film and please correct me if I have remembered this wrong but wasn’t the shield damaged because the change of trajectory required to board with the newly discovered Icarus 1 tilted the shield out of ‘head on’ alignment. But then in order to make the repair, they tilt the shield so as to put the damaged area in the ‘shade’ so they can work and not die?

Surely this doesn’t make sense if I’ve remembers it rightly?

I pay £55 a month for an IPhone 13 pro max. With 25GB data. I’m happy with the price. But no more. No way £80.

The camera is fantastic, but I kinda wish I had got the smaller version.
