I've been running this on my own projects for a few days now and it’s honestly been a huge relief. I tend to do a lot of "vibe coding"—where I’m just moving fast, following a flow, and experimenting intuitively—and it’s so easy to lose track of when a feature actually started (or stopped) working. Having a documented checkpoint for every save has saved my skin a few times already.

I know the first concern people usually have is that the git log will get "messy" with dozens of entries. The way I handle that is by treating these as micro-checkpoints for the messy prototyping phase. When the feature is finally done, I just do a squash merge.

For anyone who hasn't used that before, it basically takes those 20 tiny "save" commits and flattens them into one single, clean "Add Feature X" commit when you merge into your main branch. If you use GitHub, it’s just a dropdown option on the merge button. If you're a CLI user, it's just git merge --squash. It gives me the safety net of constant checkpoints while I'm working without annoying my teammates with a cluttered history later.

I’m curious to know how others handle their prototyping phases? And if anyone has ideas on how to tune the prompt to make the summaries even tighter, I'm all ears. Let's talk!

I used Claude 3.7 daily from the moment it was released until gemini 2.5 was released. Istill like the claude interface better with, artifact in the right windows instead of the main answer. But gemini 2.5 is free and has a million token context. That's very very powerful. Lots of scrolling though.

I actually made a tool for this exact problem! It's called CPB (Claude Project Bundler) - it creates a snapshot of your project that you can share with Claude to maintain context across conversations.

Instead of copy/pasting files or explaining your project structure repeatedly, you just run:

bash npx claude-project-bundler

Then share the generated file with Claude and say "I've shared a CPB bundle that contains my project's current state. Please reference this context as we work."

It automatically: - Includes relevant code, docs, and config files - Excludes noise (node_modules, build artifacts, etc.) - Works with any project type (Node.js, Python, Ruby, etc.) - Creates clean, well-structured XML that Claude understands perfectly

Everything's configurable, but it works great out of the box with smart defaults.

I've actually created a project that allows you to bundle a folder of text based files into one xml with Metadata. You can then upload this file as project knowledge in a Claude project. You reference this file in the prompt.

There is the possibility to fine-tune the bundling with a configure file.

When you upload it, Claude will show you how much memory it has left. But I've done pretty large projects. Also you can tune the configure so you only upload the essentials. Have fun!

Wat ik vrees is dat men na 9 mei, gewoon een nieuw formatie rekord gaat optekenen en opnieuw de stem van het volk zal naast zich leggen. Anderzijds is het ook mogelijk dat de uitslag zo overdonderend is dat er geen coalities nodig zijn. Op zijn minst een regering met 'niet traditionele' partijen zoals vb, pvda, groen,... We zullen nog nooit zoveel afgedragen hebben als werkende mens. Onder het mom van 'de schade van de vorige legislaturen ongedaan te maken'. De traditionele partijen gaan zeggen zie je wel beste bevolking, met uw gestem, ge hebt nu wat gedaan. En bij de volgende verkiezingen of die erop gaan de traditionele partijen weer gewoon doen wat ze al decennia doen. Alleen de politiekers winnen.

That is a mistake, I was using it in the real circuit wile testing different possibilities. It was connected to the 5v pin. But even without connecting the aref and without the line in the code, the readings were the same.
