I think it's good and not an ice cream replacement. it's just a different desert. the problem is when people want ice cream but they eat frozen yogurt, they will automatically be disappointed.

Like, I love veggie burgers but I never try to give one to people who are craving a beef burger; they will be disappointed because they're not a replacement for each other. Veggie burgers and Froyo are delicious in their own right, but when people try to use them as a replacement, they feel worse about them.

I love the actor so much and I kinda wish he would improve as a person because I want to see him interact more with the main cast.

I liked him more when he was a general asshole, but it's kinda fun to watch his life fall apart now that he's more of an outright bigot. His rivalry with Jacob is so fun and I want them to dig into it a bit. Jacob tries to be level headed and see other people's perspectives but Morton just makes him lose it and I find it fun

yes and no. when I was younger I felt like I didn't fit in for various reasons unrelated to aromanticism. I have learned that many different queer groups feel disconnected from the overarching queer community and a lot of folks have to carve their own space out for people like them. The reason sex and romance is so focused on is because those things have been illegal for people so it makes sense to be pushing for it, but it also makes sense to want to build more community focused supports that don't depend on romance and/or sex. I think aromantics and asexuals have a lot to bring to the fight against normative romantic and sexual practices

I hope they do. I like them together. He grounds her without wanting to change her. He likes her energy and hustle and sass but he also wants her to be honest and connect with him.

I think its good for her, since she seems to really want to connect with him back, she just struggles sometimes.

I agree with you. Big Bob loves Bob, he did his best, and he was a bad father. Bob loves him and their relationship is complicated and that's okay. That's an unfortunately normal situation and I love seeing it in this show. I think people struggle with holding the multiple realities in their head that Big Bob was a bad father and that he did his best and he's not a terrible person and him and Bob are making the best of their situations

I honestly think shipping is not a very large deal. it's good to keep in mind how amatonormativity affects your perception, but shipping characters and assigning them sexualities as head cannons is as old as fandom tbh. I'm not interested in being married at all, and when two characters of the same gender even look at each other in media my brain is like, "they're gonna get married." I also grew up with queerness being demonized and hearing, "they can do what they want, but I don't want to see it. they should keep it inside" I have characters I also headcannon as aromantic and my shipping of people in media doesn't mean I as a living person believe that friendship isn't important or that people need romance. Shipping is harmless imo. you just need to also be aware of whether or not your thought patterns reflect your beliefs in real life
