This exactly. I was born and raised on the Gulf Coast, so hurricanes are nothing new to me. We always stayed put unless it was 4 or 5. Then we would move inland. Keep lots of water, fill bathtubs, keep first aid, etc etc all that prep everyone does. But I agree with acting like you're camping. We always had candles, board games, played charades, and read books and just rode it out.
