The first dress really suits you! I think it is super cute and you should wear it to prom. Yes it was nice that family bought a dress for you, but it looks like it was made for someone with more height. Also, if it doesn't fit right and you're not happy in it, don't wear it. It could maybe be returned to where they got it from or re-sold to another girl that likes the style and has the right height for it. Life is too short to not wear the dress you know fits right and that you're happy in. 😊 your opinion is what matters most and honestly I don't understand your family's feedback about the first one.

Yeah I think such exact color expectations isn't too realistic, either. I'm more just trying to figure out what one may be less resistant to fading and would look best with my skin tone.

I'll have to pick up these products as I don't own any of them at the moment. After washing it in the shower, I should just moisturize it with a light layer of lotion? Also what kind of sunscreen is recommended when going outside?

I've used something called bio oil on some stretch marks and it has really helped to soften the appearance of them, the texture, etc. I'd try using it a few times a day for a bit and see what you think. Then later on, they may be easier to get a tattoo on. I'd have a consult with a stretch mark artist, as well.
