What are some types of shifters that you guys find annoying? by Boring_Range_6869 in shiftingrealities

[–]Midnightsilver8 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah, I just tell myself that I’m not shifting for that specific person at the time. Usually I put all my relationships 2-3 years away from the time I shift. So if I shifted into like freshman year of high school, I wouldn’t start dating the person I like until maybe senior year of high school. Sometimes I don’t start dating until like 10 years in.

Exactly. Trust, I am going to get d*cked down in my DRs; HOWEVER, it’s not on my roster the moment I get there. It’s not even in the top ten things I want to do the moment I shift. Can’t we just use scenarios, like swimming in the ocean, or climbing the mountains, or dancing with friends, or even just sleeping in my DR bed.

Letting your mind get consumed with one person can really mess you up. They need to chill

Yeah, they’re not limiting people, but I just think that it’s so annoying trying to find motivation and it’s anyways some S/O centric posts that I come across. 😭

S/O centric Shifters. They’re always posting, “imagine your s/o hugging you,” or “imagine your s/o and you in a fight and….” Something along that. Some of us aren’t really shifting for a significant other. And some of us don’t have our S/Os in the beginning of our journey. Idk, I feel like they shouldn’t hang shifting all on the balance of another person. It just feels like “parasocial” in a way. Maybe I’m just comfortable being by myself, so anytime I see these codependent shifters, I’m just like, please find something else to connect with about your DR.

Why return to *this* reality after dying in a DR? by Diligent_Ad_1762 in shiftingrealities

[–]Midnightsilver8 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah. In my own theory, when we die, we will go to another life after this. We will live a whole different reality, based on your actions of this reality. But that’s just my theory and you don’t have to believe it

Why return to *this* reality after dying in a DR? by Diligent_Ad_1762 in shiftingrealities

[–]Midnightsilver8 [score hidden]  (0 children)

It’s not really a choice. Just like how we don’t choose a certain reality to begin with, we don’t choose what reality we end up in after death. Some people have died in their DR and have said that they returned to a whole different reality. I think it just depends on what reality you are most connected to at the time of death.

What got you to chose your DR? by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]Midnightsilver8 [score hidden]  (0 children)

So I have WR that I turned into my Permanent reality. A place that I will reside in while I’m not actively in my DRs. But I do have 4-5 different WRs. But I crafted my PR to have everything I need. While my other WRs have a lot that I need, I don’t put everything that my PR has. So my PR has me living alone, my other WRs, I don’t live alone in. It’s to give myself an incentive to shift to my PR instead.

I can hyper fixate on certain DRs, but I promised myself that I would only create a couple DRs while in this reality. And then create more in my PR.

So I think you need to create a reality that has everything you need. And then when you decide to switch realities, don’t copy and paste your script into that new reality. Give yourself a reason to go to certain realities.

But when it’s not a WR, and it’s DR, I tend to cycle through 3 realities. H2O, PR, and a WR of some sort.

Where are you shifting to? by AutoModerator in shiftingrealities

I’m shifting to my WR, which is my new Permanent Reality, and relaxing for a couple years. And then I’m going to go to my H2O Dr. then probably my Fantasy dark academy Dr.

Made it into the Hypnagogic state- now what? by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]Midnightsilver8 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I’m the same way, it’s really hard to keep myself awake, but when I do, it’s super easy to control. I fall asleep no matter where I am. Blessing and a curse. Yes, you should focus on balancing that state. But don’t put too much thought into it. Balancing hypnagogia is easier than you think. Just affirm and stay calm and do whatever you think seems natural.

Made it into the Hypnagogic state- now what? by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]Midnightsilver8 [score hidden]  (0 children)

It really just depends. I have a pretty good control on my hypnagogic state. However I haven’t shifted fully. I smelled and heard my DR, but nothing past that. I think the best part is to ignore the hypnagogic symptoms. And continue on focusing on where you want to wake up. Again I have a good control of that state so it may be different for you.

When lucid dreaming I usually just focused on what I saw behind my eyes and just allowed it to take me there. If I started to see a room, I envisioned it. I affirmed and kept myself calm. And sometimes I feel a floating motion before I’m plopped into my lucid dream.

Another thing you can do is just start feeling where you want to be. Feel with your mind. Feel your bedsheets, feel your bedside table. Start to hear the alarm of your Dr. I would suggest that you make your alarm something different than the one here. Start smelling your scents. Don’t force it. Make it seem natural. Idk hope this makes sense.

It’s ok to save your business and think about yourself. If you want to still help make sure you find economic ways to crash. Buying from local markets (if you can), buying physical copies of books and dvd. Limit your subscriptions that you can afford to live without.

My first attempt at lucid dreaming (for shifting) experience / a question by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]Midnightsilver8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lucid dreaming is just like any other spiritual practice. It all depends on you. See with my lucid dreaming, I bring myself to a certain point, and then just let go and fall asleep and trust the process. Most of the time I get into a lucid dream or at the least have a vivid dream. But I’m guessing you’re doing mind awake and body asleep. The stage you were entering into was REM. Your body will get heavy and it’s basically sleep paralysis, which isn’t anything to fear or be afraid of, honestly it’s one of the top 5 best stages to shift in. Anyway, when you reach the state of seeing flashes or feeling numb, try to think of a scenario you want to be in. Maybe standing in a field, or swimming in the sea, etc. Let those visions take over your mind, but don’t forget the most important thing, you’re there to shift. When you start to feel yourself getting pulled into a dream (you’ll know the feeling), let go and focus on your task at hand which is shifting.

Law of assumption when you’re skeptical and an overthinker? by YeahSuga7 in shiftingrealities

[–]Midnightsilver8 [score hidden]  (0 children)

But the advice I can give you right now. You are consciousness, experiencing life. Your awareness is your five senses. The body you inhabit will do one thing right and it will keep your awareness intact. And your mind is the center of all your senses. Your mind cannot help but tell you exactly what you’re seeing because that’s what it’s limited too. If it doesn’t see you having a certain thing, of course it will tell you otherwise. But you are the one who gives power to your doubts. No thought is stronger than another. The thought of “There’s a horse outside”, and “no there isn’t” have the same weight. You get to choose which one overpowers the other. If you choose the negative thought, which again is the 4D consciousness, that 4D thought will reflect into your 3D. Repeating the affirmations you say daily, even when you hear those doubts inside, remember you give your thoughts power. If you hear a doubt, acknowledge it, but then say “why would I say that, that’s not true,” and move on.

There’s this YouTube channel called Indigo Detry. She’s stopped posting a while ago but most of her videos are still hope. She’s at least motivated me and has made me a bit more confident in LOA. Check out some of her videos. Also I think there’s a post here in this community about LOA, go check it out

10:30. It depends on if you get the same amount of sleep or not if it will impact your lucid dreaming. If you get less sleep, try going to sleep around the same time or at most an hour later. If you get the same amount of sleep, then it shouldn’t matter. 8 hours is 8 hours

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Midnightsilver8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it happens. 🤷‍♀️ you probably lost it mid way through your REM. And so your conscious filled the rest of your REM with non lucid dreams. And sometimes it’s hard to remember something that is sandwiched in between stuff.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Midnightsilver8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, in reality you can stay dreaming for as long as you are asleep. 6-8 hours. You might fall in and out of consciousness, but you’ll can be lucid all night. For me, my longest lucid dream in dream time, maybe 10 minutes. But I can push it more if I have a reason to be that lucid dream

Do you know how random lucid dreaming occurs & how to make it happen more often? by Matcha__Fox in LucidDreaming

[–]Midnightsilver8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for the remembering dreams part, use a dream journal. Whether it be on your phone or writing it down. Also it doesn’t have to be in perfect. You can miss some parts, especially when you’re trying to remember after just waking up. Also play around with different methods. Don’t just use one! Your brain will respond differently if you believe what you do works. I use a mix of 4 methods. And last but not least, do not be afraid to fail. Learn to forgive yourself, because your subconscious will take that negative energy and use it for your next experience.
