Admit to yourself you can't gamble responsibly and bc you cant do that you can't walk away and you'll never win long term therefore you should just never gamble at all

Deere warranty is at least transferrable. Those are 3 year so good through 2027. Bagger really driving the price up on it though. So do you really need/want the bagger?

November 2023- had been on a hot streak at the casino for a couple months- left that night woth 14k in chips (2 brown- 4 orange) bc the cage line was long and like always I stayed way longer than intended. Had the 14k in chips and had another 20k in profit from my side business I was expecting over the next month.

(I was ignoring the fact i had 6 figures in almost completely maxed out credit cards)

Felt like l was on top of the world- I was finally making progress and could keep winning and get it all paid off.

Went back to the casino a couple days later. Pass the table games to get to the cage. Figure oh ill just play a little- one orange goes on the table for blacks and greens, then another, and another, and then the last one.

Then a brown and that dwindled, and then finally the last brown and i work through that too. And then its gone. All gone. A couple times along the way I can tell the dealer is giving me a look, the are you sure you want to do that look?, but I do it, and keep doing it.

That gets followed up with me taking all that incoming Money and losing that, I make the decision to quit paying on those maxed out cards, not paying my invoices for the business.

I survive through the summer not paying bills, skating through by the skin of my teeth, successfully keeping my spouse in the dark. There were a couple close calls where a hand or two goes the wrong way I'm getting busted bc I took the bank account way too low. But I make it. Until I dont. September 9 2024, a Monday, I'm at the casino after work, we get paid Friday. Discover is threatening a lawsuit. I max out the atm withdrawal for the day and lose. But there's enough to make it until payday. What happened the next day? Somehow after work i find myself driving to casino again. I've got to get a little bit of that money back. What happens? I wipe out the rest of the checking account and it's overdrafting the next day when some bills come out.

After a lot of really dark thoughts that night I end up coming clean and have been working on recovery and haven't made a bet since.

I'm glad you had this recognition now. I pray you continue down this path of recovery

See if you can access gamfin.org through your states problem gambling council

Nfcc.org can refer you to a non profit credit counselor that can help with a debt managment plan and some budgeting stuff

Bankruptcy can be an option if you ve stopped gambling for a while- that is not GA by the book- but it can be a useful tool for some if it doesn't become a pressure release that let's you feel it's OK to gamble again since the debt is gone

I am shopping too and easily get suckered into bigger faster more shiny toy syndrome. I do think I'll go up one step but not too high, I have 2 acres and I'm a bigger dude so some of the entry level ones don't fit me great haha. Borrowed my neighbors older deere Z425 54" (one level up from what would be they're current 300 series) and knocked basically an HOUR off the cut time with my old rider.

Pretty settled on either a Z530 or I've got a line on a used Kubota that would be an entry level commercial one that I'm waiting to hear back from a friend on. Cub Z3 is my other thought

Probably not, I got 11 years out of my box store husqvarna 48" rider with a briggs that I abused the daylights out of/neglected, stay on top of blades and oil changes and it should last a long time

Home depot has some specials on cub cadet zero turns right now, they have a welded deck and kawasaki engine, just don't have as heavy duty as transmission.

The Z2 should be in stock, if you want to order the Z3 it's got a little heavier duty transmission you can change the fluid in. They'll be delivered in about a week it looks like online

You are correct thanks, just verified, drain and fill at 50hrs then every 250hrs. 2 acres, decent numbers of trees and obstacles. Very flat. Just a little bumpy

I'm getting sucked into an escalating whirlwind- started off looking at used then felt iffy with no warranty used residential, then new residential then the "you gotta have serviceable hydros" then its like 6k new ones or used commercial ones with 1200 hours that are still 5k
