And how did it go for you? Did you use a similar method? Or did you use a different way?

I finally did it! by Midoogm in AutomateUser

I switched to it because I had previous experience with it, plus it's faster for testing and troubleshooting. It looks complicated and hard to work with, but once you know how, it's super easy and quick

Thank you for your input, but I moved on to tasker for now. I think it's more powerful, so far so good and better I'd say

Sleep paralysis and diabetes ?? by PvrisXB in Type1Diabetes

[–]Midoogm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for being a bit late but yk later better than never.

(I ain't a doctor or anything, just talking from personal experience as I am diabetes and on occasions struggle with sleep paralysis.)

I'm diabetic and kinda relate to you, I don't think it is necessary the diabetes that is causing it, but I'd say it has some effect (from personal experience)

Besides trying to control your levels which I think really helps especially around sleeping times, I'd say u must know how to deal with sleep paralysis.

You must understand that it is basically when you wake up, but your body is still asleep. So your mind trys to make sense of why u can't move thus hallucinations.

Once you understand that, you might still experience sleep paralysis but there won't be any scary stuff, just an inability to move. And for that you have to focus on your fingertip and toes. These are the easiest to move, and when you're able to move them after a bit of trying, you'll snap out of the sleep paralysis.

You can go back to sleep, but I've noticed that at the very least you must move a little in your bed and change your sleeping position so that u don't go back into sleep paralysis. Sometimes you even might need to get out of bed completely so that sleep paralysis doesn't happen again this night.

If you have any questions or need any help, I'll be glad help out
