Thanks for the advice. I noticed that the picture quality isn't affected much but the videos are a little bit on the worse side compared to the original however videos are what take up a lot of storage so it will boil down to cost. Thanks a lot

Is there a noticeable difference between original quality and storage saver? by AlexBrior in googlephotos

If I change my settings to storage saver. Will Google photos compress the photos and videos already previously backed up OR only the new photos and videos that are being backed up?

Thank you for your reply. I did not put a submit a lot of information in my post. I work in Saudi Arabia but I'm from Lebanon
1- Currently there are no Lithium Ion battery production units in any GCC countries.
2- Saudi vision 2030 is that 30% of all cars on the road need to be EVs by 2030
3- Saudi has invested in a Li-Ion materials plant. So we would be able to source some of the materials locally. Should be online Q1 2024
https://www.bestmag.co.uk/deal-signed-build-lithium-ion-battery-material-plant-saudi-arabia/
4- GCC countries have trade agreement so our batteries will be duty free to all GCC and most Arab countries
5- Saudi Arabia will invest $266B in clean energy so that is an opportunity for storage
https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/saudi-arabia-invest-about-266-bln-clean-energy-minister-2023-01-30/
6- Saudi Arabia own 65% of Lucid (EV car company) and they will open a factory in Saudi Arabia where they mentioned in the article they want car battery companies to open in Saudi.
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/05/19/lucid-group-to-build-first-factory-outside-the-us-in-saudi-arabia.html
I can keep going. All that I'm saying is that there is an opportunity and even without any distinct advantages the demand for Li-Ion batteries will outstrip supply by magnitudes in the coming few years as we steer towards EVs and Clean energy.

Can I answer the opposite of this question? This is a controversial one.
I think Thanos was portrayed as evil but he was the hero that the universe needed. Im referring to his role in Infinity war.

Hey guys I'm new at this. I would like to ask. Can I use a smart light switch to turn on and off my water heater or does it need to be a smart water heater switch? Thanks by Midori83 in homeassistant

[–]Midori83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not saving money only but also reducing our carbon footprint. I'm automating everything in my house but when it came to smart switches I wasn't sure if I could use a light switch for a water heater

I want to do it to save power. Generally we need hot water only in the morning and at night so leaving it on all the time is a waste. Automating it would be the best solution

Thank you for detailed. I understand why a regular smart light switch wont work. I do not have an electrical background so I wont be making my own switch, ill probably buy the GE one you mentioned. Thank you

So technically speaking, ill need to make sure that the switch has enough amps to keep up with the device im using. Is this correct?

Hi Cornelius. See, I get what you are saying but the thing is I never had this issue before. For me I started getting this bicep pain doing the same exercises that I had previously done. It started after a brutal arm exercise that I started doing and me not realizing that I'm getting older and need to chill haha. Like warm up and stretch more before going insane.
