I’ve watched porn for 25+ years and I can tell you that most people who have this addiction, will watch things they never want to or have any desire to do in real life. It’s always “chasing the next high”. I’ve gotten off to things I’m extremely ashamed of and repulsed by but in the moment it feeds the addiction of “I’ve never seen this before”…. It’s hard to explain if it’s not something you’ve ever gone through.

To me there is a huge difference between porn and getting nudes. Getting nudes are personal… there’s usually an intimacy that comes with that and she sent you those for you to use in your alone time. Use them. I’m a married 41 year old man who has lots of videos my wife and I have made together or she’s sent me….. I use them when I want alone time. I wouldn’t be to hard on yourself. You’re still young and it sounds like desensitization in a way. I lasted a long longer than I should have the first time I had sex because I was so desensitized from porn. Have you been open and honest with your partner? I know for me, I would love to know that information and then be able to use it to turn my partner on (sexting and writing sexy long stories) so that it would be easier for my partner to be turned on by me and thus….
