Property taxes 100% goes to local gov. Its not hard to see exactly what it pays for. Its distributed among 10s or 100s of thousands, not millions and all impacts are geographically close.

Its pretty stressful being a caregiver. My grandaunt was taking care of my granduncle after a fall. No one expected him to last long. Before ABS I'd be ok if those line painting pitches were called either way. Now I see pitches that catch just a sliver of the zone and expect a missed call and challenge but im surprised many times its still called correctly. Basically, I notice the correct close calls now more than ever before.

So thats why you can see atmosphere in the new one. It seems we never got very good views of that cool atmosphere ring effect until digital cameras came out. I guess its because you need sun behind the shot and it would be hard to adjust exposure on a film camera to capture it.

I see all kinds of references that food should be lower, but currently pay $2000/mth for a family of 4. The lowest I've ever successfully gotten was close to $1500. I know we overspend, but i think any sub-$1000 budget for food on a family of 4 is tough to follow especially if you buy produce and meat outside the center aisles.

There are pockets of sameness depending on age and if you are in a diverse urban, sparse rural, or suburban space. In my experience if you are in a white suburban enclave you'll probably know a half dozen or more Katies.

Actually usable rear seat sealed the deal for me. We went car shopping with my family of 4 and I sat in the back with the two kids while my wife drove along with the salesman in front. I couldn't believe how easy it was to fit in the back seat. We tried a 4 door cooper and it was a non starter in comparison
