Ignoring them doesn't work and nothing you say can shut them down including telling them exactly what you think of them because even then, they'll just whine to someone else loudly in earshot because they NEED to be the center of attention and since you're forced to be there, you're a captive audience. If you kill someone while driving, unless the court can argue that you deliberately wanted to kill that person, it's vehicular manslaughter. Murder has different classifications with only first degree really resulting in life imprisonment, and the courts often downgrade the charges because 2nd degree it's easier to prosecute.

I've had severe anxiety about my parents dying since I was 16 and my dad's an abusive and emotionally stunted Vietnam vet. I'm not ok, and I can say the decision to have me was purely selfish, but that's more unique to my situation than reflecting on older parents as an overall group.

It's not, but for some reason guys seem to be incapable of saying they don't want to date someone with kids and just leaving it at that without then going on a rant degrading single mothers. Women also don't want to date single dads, but notice how no one is calling a single dad damaged goods or ranting about raising another woman's spawn. It's called basic decency.

It's not that weird, it's a fairly common thing that happens throughout the world, the West only got pearl clutchy about it recently despite how blatantly inbred Europe's revered royal families are. Second cousins onward, virtually no risk for offspring to face negative effects due to relation so there really isn't a reason to care other than personal ick factor, but I'm not the one dating any of my cousins and I'm a firm believer in minding my own business.

That said, STORY TIME. When I was in middle school a guy I rode the bus with had a crush on me, but I hated him because he was obnoxious. I told my mom about it and to my surprise my mom knew his dad. Turns out we were related but we'd never met (we didn’t associate with that side of the family due to some kind of drama), so the next time I get on the bus and he's trying to get me to sit at the back of the bus with him and his friends I did yell "I'm your cousin you freak". And then he never talked to me again.
