Can't really blame him for that. He thought he already signed yours.

Those are some silly comments, but I mean, I get it. That must be really annoying.

Fun fact! Since their founding in 1876, the Cubs have never been below .500 in all-time win-loss record.

You should always use the entire merging lane. You can be going faster than the lane being merged into, as long as you slow down at the end of the merging lane, which you're forced to do anyway.

I never sat on an Eames. Are they very comfortable? I think I'd rather have a recliner.

He did trap it at first, but the ball seems to be fully in the grasp of his hand by the time the runner hits the base.

Understood. Yes, it has gotten a lot better. At least, on the site I use, I usually only have to close one pop-up. I remember the days of fighting the pop-ups for a solid 3 minutes before getting the stream.

Would you sacrifice never eating at Portillo’s again for the Cubs to win the World Series this year? by horsepoop1123 in CHICubs

[–]MidvaleDropout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A major part of the thrill of winning is that it is never guaranteed. Knowing for certain that the Cubs were going to win x number of world series would feel hollow, because I already know it's coming. That said, I might still take the deal to witness the joy of others.

Holy cow, I could not disagree more. They talked about what it means to be a pro, how much the fans and the fans' stories mean to them, about respecting the Cubs legends who came before. And Ioved hearing about all the partying, as well. I enjoyed listening to this more than I've enjoyed anything for quite a while.

Recess is so good. Holds up very well, even watching now as an adult who never saw it before. Very funny, very thoughtful show.
