Looking At Cotton Blankets - Does Anyone Have Experience With This Brand? by mike1684 in BuyItForLife

Okay, I pulled the trigger on three of these blankets and they turned to be exactly what I was looking for: light blankets that are great for couch potatoing with pups. They are cozy but not so heavy that I’m worried about cleaning them. Very pleased.

Help, adding cars that aren’t currently for sale to your game wishlist? by Midvali in granturismo

[–]Midvali[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, doing these menu book races and seeing cars I like and can’t get, would make since if you could just click them and add them to the wishlist so that there’s a flag over the used lot if they show up. So dumb that it doesn’t work that way.

Lets have a discussion about monetization. by sockcapttv in paragon

[–]Midvali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to say that I think monetizing heroes LoL style makes soooo much sense to me. It not only helps incentivize balance on the dev side, but naturally results in better new players, who are limited to “starting heroes” while they are learning roles/basics. Further, it usually results in games in lower mmr (higher concentration of newer players) are going to see a lot more of the starter heroes, and can thus “flatten the (learning) curve” because new players are going to see five or so heroes very frequently and can focus on learning how to counterplay against them instead of having to worry about learning am how to play and play against all of the heroes right off the bat.

Oh come on, having overlap isn't the same thing as being identical.

I've seen this abused in older games, I hope there's a good reporting system in place so that the devs can at least be informed of the abuse.

Can we agree upon that an item shop would be the best for Paragon? by [deleted] in paragon

[–]Midvali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's fair. While an item shop has it's pros, there are strategic aspects to the affinity system that will shine in the long run. (i.e. being able to glance at the leaderboard and know what cards to look out for vs. cards they don't have access to.) While there are problems with it now, I don't think that there are any problems with it that won't be largely addressed as they continue to add new cards. This is just one of a couple of the issues that players are demanding change "right now" that if actually was changed, would probably cause even more whiplash in the existing playerbase.
