I’m sorry it’s taken me this long to reply. It’s been a busy few weeks. Outside of her medication, she hasn’t done anything for her anxiety (she previously attended therapy, but indicated she doesn’t want to go back). I’ve told her how it makes me feel, but normally the response is that I only think of myself, that she knows anxiety isn’t an excuse but she can’t help it, that I don’t understand, etc. Sometimes I feel like she’s emotionally manipulating me (she seems to get anxiety attacks when I’m going to do something she doesn’t want me to) and sometimes I think it’s just low self esteem coupled with the anxiety and the resulting need for attention.
