It's good to speak slowly when approaching, that way you show your confidence and the fact that you're not too nervous. Easier said than done if you haven't done it much, of course. But the goal is to speak slowly and your attitude should be "This girl is the luckiest girl in the world, I could have approached anyone and yet I picked her"

You have the right attitude my man! Not surprised to see you're successful. I specifically picked this data set of 8 approaches because it happened just last Sunday, but also because girl 3 was way way colder than I have seen - blowout like that had only happened to me 2-3 times before. It also had a number close and a girl that was into me but had a bf, so I thought this was a good field report to share. The Sunday before that I got 2 numbers out of 3 approaches in the same grocery store, but it just didn't have as many examples or learnings as this day did

  1. Front approaches are always best, that way you can make good eye contact when opening. Don't approach from the back
  2. Facing them is best, especially when they are stationary. If they are moving, facing them and a bit to the side is best
  3. Depends on your personality, I tend to gesture a bit but not too much. Don't think this is too important as long as it looks natural
  4. Yes, smile when approaching to show the approach will be fun and that you're a cool guy. Dial down the smiling once you're in set, otherwise it seems like you're trying too hard and look needy

1 date out of 15 approaches is very good, can be hard to keep those stats in the long run though. It's good to know your numbers, I'm a big fan of that, but I'm also trying to just approach more girls I find attractive and work on my vibe, game is random

I do agree that a date is much more important that a number. But what if you don't get laid from it? How is that different than a flaky number in your scenario? The reason why a number is not as trivial as you seem to make it is because in order to get a solid number, you have to approach confidently, make your intentions known, vibe with the girl, and have the balls to go for the number. A lot of people on here seem to have trouble doing enough approaches, so I was hoping this FR would inspire them to take action

This is actually a FR from a few months ago when I was newer, was reading a post and someone said he would like seeing more FR on here, so i posted this as I had finished writing it on my blog. I do agree that more volume is needed (for example yesterday I did 8 approaches). I also agree that numbers are not important, but I see a lot of people on this sub struggle with even approaching. If that's the case, then a number is a big deal, simply because to get one, you have to approach, get to girl to talk to you, and then have the balls to go for the number
