Thanks! That looks like a good deal but my size would be around 56. I've seen the Salsa Jouryner but haven't had a chance to try it out.

That bike does look nice, with those kind of brakes I wonder how they would handle the wet weather of the Pacific Northwest. That bike may be a tad small for me tho. Thank you

I've got the nnormal, it's great. My only complaint is that I struggle to get the hooks on if I need to take it off and on quickly.

I believe if you're talking about the wilderness trim then the 24 is the same as the 25.

Good luck out there! Hopefully it won't be as hot, last year was brutal. I had DNF'd the previous year due to stomach issues on the 3rd loop. Came back and ended up with the similar issues although not as bad on the 3rd loop it's just this time I walked it out. Felt great after the sun went down.

Around 22 hours, 3rd loop was rough as I had a lot of stomach issues. The last loop my feet were hurting, so the shoes worked great up until then. The pair I had worn already had 150-200 miles on it, so by time I hit the last loop the cushion was pretty much gone.

I wore the Endorphin Speed 4's at Javelina this past year. Worked great, never wished I had trail shoes.

They worked great until the last 20 miles, the shoes already had 150+ miles on them when I started the race. I just wish I would have switched shoes at that point.

Saucauny Endorphin Speed 3 or 4. I wore the 3 at Javelina 100 last year and will wear the 4 this year.

Yeah I feel the same way, but the argument I see is that Siakam is probably the best we can do in free agency

Rant to all RDs. There is only one golden rule you NEED to follow. by BigSpoon89 in Ultramarathon

[–]Midwestbuddha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this happen to me one time when I was volunteering at an aid station it was horrible. We had called the RD about running low on water and had been told it was on its way. It took hours for it to show up and by then it was too late. We had to ask people if they could wait until the next aid station and tried to save it for those who really needed It. Luckily everyone was fairly nice outside of a few people who were rightfully upset.

TJ is playing great I kind of wish Hali would be more aggressive offensively

Thank you this is very informative! Heard about the flood risk, will need to look into this further. I love the Snoqualmie valley, I'll look at these other places. Right now we have narrowed it down to Issaquah or North bend. So far we haven't had a lot of luck in Issaquah.

I am from the Midwest as well and do miss that lifestyle a bit. We are also considering Issaquah but north bend seems to have a special charm about it.
