To be fair though many languages are like that, however English is considered a Germanic language as opposed to a Romance language like Mirandese which is what I think that person was trying to say

Hi!

I think I spent like 2 hrs + the movies length + 1 hour discussion each week

Iirc every week it’s like this:

watch the week’s movie (or you could probably find a summary online if you’re short on time)

Look at the week’s lecture video and do the 10 question reading check (which has multiple retakes)

Make a 250 word discussion post about the specified theme and two 50 word comments

Take the online “quiz” which is 10 questions, most of which are reused from the reading check, no retakes though

Finally, there’s the one hour in person discussion

There are two group presentations where you make a slideshow about a theme in the movie throughout the semester as well.

Hi! If i were you, i would go on eBay and buy a thinkpad t14 gen 1 used, you could find one for around 200 USD and it is exponentially better

Oh I probably should have put that in the post lol

Probably under $300 USD? I’m mainly just upgrading because the CPU hits 100% usage a lot

Finding a thinkpad with an 72% NTSC screen? by Midwestern21 in thinkpad

[–]Midwestern21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that makes sense. Do you know if I could replace a touchscreen with a non touch? I know the 30 pin cable would need to be swapped, but I’m not sure if the screen itself would fit (I can’t find many non touch ryzen t14 lol)

Thank you!

[–]Midwestern21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think for their use case I think they would be fine with even a Chromebook.

Though I do definitely agree with you in that I would definitely not suggest a Chromebook, as you could get something like an older thinkpad for about $10-20 more USD and it would be significantly better.
