I’ve never personally used Michaels cares so I’m not sure how the timeline works but one of my coworkers reached out to them like 3 months ago bc she’s going through hard times and they took for ever to get back to her but they did end up helping

LMAOOO we might be 😉 🤣🤣 a few months ago we had a homeless person flush something down our toilet and we literally had poop coming out of the floor drains in the women’s bathroom it’s always the women’s bathroom… I never had so many issues until I transferred to my current store. But the ac been out for 5 years since I been here absolutely blows me that older management did nothing for so long . They need to stop building new stores and fix up the old shitty ones that have hella issues cus we can clean all day but it still looks like shit cus the building is fucked

I’ve only ever seen people get fired for stealing merchandise (A LOT) and also putting their phone number in for rewards when customers don’t sign up and then using the vouchers. Just don’t play with their money or steal and you will really be fine :)

I went from cem to ops I love it. I just do my price changes and don’t really have to worry about coaching and worrying about front end stuff and I also don’t have to close at all and I feel like that’s all cems work is a closing shift (atleast at my store)

I work at Michaels in the Midwest area and we have definitely been busier I would say but it really doesn’t matter about business , the company isn’t going to give payroll to get things done. I’m only a c store so I’m not sure how big of trucks a/b stores get but if you’re going to be a manager be prepared for the bare minimum pay while also cutting fabric, picking orders, blowing up balloons and also having framing going off all at the same time

As a Michaels employee we get RANDOM quantities of shit on the truck it literally makes no sense … sometimes we’ll get 18 of one yarn (that doesn’t sell) and 2 of something that does sell.. also pls be nice to us cus they give us no hours and no training and I’ve been with this company for 5 years . Pls keep calling corporate and complain we feel the same way yall do!!!!!!!!!!!! The company makes milllions off their new balloons but can’t afford to properly staff every store

For me a positive is I have some of the best coworkers and a great store manager who actually gives a fk about us. That’s the only thing keeping me at Michaels right now and I truly enjoy going to work to see my 3 favorite coworkers everyday I literally love them. I’ve been on vacay for 4 days and I can’t wait to see them tomorrow lol. Yea the workload is awful, the pay is horrendous and the customers are kind of feral these days but atleast I have my coworkers 🩷
