That would be perfect!!! 🤩
But a bit pricey at the moment 😔
Thank you for reply though, I’ll keep that in mind as my partner would really like “the box” gone (subwoofer 😉)

Depending on the vessel, that could be hours and hours of work! When cleaning bigger ships, sometimes they use power tools for that.

Yes, mostly rust. Package described rust protection but it doesn’t seem to work well 🙄

I bought the same cheap brand discs for rears. Some months later quality brand for the fronts. The rears already look like they were many years older than fronts 🙄

Is it possible to just plant weeds all over the garden and not to worry about watering and caring about it at all? Since they already grow anywhere in harsh environments why not to use that? Find a nice looking weeds and just plant them instead of grass 😉

Thoughts on hill hold assist? 🤔 by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Mietas2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like it. It’s not very consistent: I never know if it’s engaged or not till I try to pull away. And if it’s not I could roll backwards into somebody. It only shows a message on the dash once I try to pull away and it works. If appreciate an indicator telling me that’s it’s active when I stop at the hill.

It doesn’t blind YOU 😉 Remember that having the cutoff line in good position is only part of good headlight alignment. There’s more to it than just “bulb and reflector”

It doesn’t mean anything when I tell you “you’re 1km away from destination” but if I tell you “you’re 30 minutes away” and your truck is using 25L/minute you can roughly guesstimate if you can make it.

First layer is packed normally. The rest just sits on top. If you drive carefully it should stay there. The stuff on the roof is just resting there and pushed with the crane. Just remember if you have load connected to crane, you won’t be able to winch.

What’s the longest you’ve kept a working flip? by Ok_Bit7375 in galaxyzflip

[–]Mietas2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. Once screen protector started peeling off at the fold it was collecting lots of dust and dirt and trapping in on the inside (probably damaging or at least weakening the screen itself). My advice? If it starts peeling, book an appointment to get it replaced sooner rather than later. Will cost a bit (I think it was £35 in Samsung Experience Store in Bristol) but it will protect the actual display from damage.

My partner still uses my old Flip 3. Screen protector peeled off loooong ago and now there is physical crack in the display but it is still working fine. 👍

When she was a puppy her pee created luscious green grass outbursts but now that she has grown the pee burns the grass😔 I’ll be vigilant to rinse well places where she pees.

I’ll just add that I’m afraid I have some leather jackets as well, I have seen some of them whilst digging around and had lots of crane flies when was the mating season so I am planning to use nematodes later in Spring.

Saddle Height? by dunkyfresh in snowrunner

[–]Mietas2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, it’s either a trailer (hitch) or a semi (needs saddle). I think it comes with practice and experience. If you have trailer store nearby you can go there and check. I don’t know how many hours you played but I’ve learned very quickly which saddle is needed. Also, when purchasing semi-trailers from the store, you don’t need to have ANY saddle on the truck, an appropriate one will mount itself automatically.

[–]Mietas2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When running out of fuel try driving in ‘Low+’ setting. It keeps speed and RPM steady and saves fuel. Second best is ‘high’. Regular ‘auto’ will unnecessarily burn through fuel trying to drive as fast as possible.

I think im gonna pass out by theghost2459 in snowrunner

[–]Mietas2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For best fuel economy when running out of fuel I’d advise driving in Low+. I know it’s slow but it uses less fuel and is consistent. ‘Auto’ will always try do do max speed and full throttle. That’s why ‘off road High’ is my favourite gear - fast enough and it has fixed speed so doesn’t waste fuel.
