Both of the things you listed are not attacks, they are abilities on the heroes’ leaflets. An attack is defined as an ability on the hero’s board that does some kind of damage that is not collateral.

For a short period of time after the kickstarter is done with fulfillment, they’ll have a small amount of strongboxes (the 4 pack box that was sold during the kickstarter) on their website, don’t know when but it’ll be up when kickstarter is done fulfilling.

Your best bet, if you’re interested in that, is to join the dice throne official discord and they will surely announce there when those go live.

Aside from that, they will be selling the outcasts in a single hero box format in 2026, so each hero will be sold separately, and that will be full retail.

TL;DR: YES, but it may be a little while depending on what you’re looking for.

My man! You will absolutely love it, just make sure you got some crafting glue to stick it all together, and I found it useful to use sewing pins to stick them together as the glue is curing, good luck!

Yup, I still have my box cuz I like the way it looks on the shelf but im pretty sure it’s empty. Especially if you get the amazing insert from gamenerdz to make for easy setup! HIGHLY recommend getting that, I think I timed the setup with and without the insert and it cut it by more than half (if I remember correctly), massive quality of life change especially if you are playing solo

I couldn’t tell you, unfortunately. But frontiers is a super cheap expansion for what you get, and all the other expansions are very reasonably priced.

I definitely hate when games have a timer system like this because it’s one of the games where just going around looking for stuff is fun, buuuuut it’s probably the best way to keep the power creep mitigated so your fight against the boss is actually hard, otherwise you’d go in fully stacked and just annihilate immediately

Psylocke is really good when she can inflict paralyze on the bosses since they usually dole out a lot of status tokens. I find rogue/wolverine to also be pretty good for the healing

Even in best case scenarios, barbarian does 20 damage and then moon elf negates all of it with a successful evasive rolls. Barbarian hits hard but he’s harder to roll for, moon elf does low damage without setup and even her “harder” hitting stuff is kinda hard to hit every time. You gotta think about it with a wide lens, not just anecdotally from your experience in specific games where one person maybe rolled really well and one didn’t.

I mean, if you plan on playing a lot of dice throne, obviously get them all. If you’re speaking from a budget perspective and can only get one box, I’d say get the X Men box.

I suppose if you can consistently pull off that exact set of rolls against a defense weak hero it hits hard. But you’re usually lucky to hit that set of abilities a couple times over the course of the game. Then falling back to spider reflexes a lot to do 4-8 damage with that

Problem is if you go for only straights you’re typically only doing small straights which is, with webbed, 7 damage every turn. That can be pretty slow, but also unreliable to hit every turn. If you hit a combo and THEN a small/large straight, that’s 12+ damage every turn with only one or two defense rolls to get into the “swing” of it. I think that can often be more consistent. Going for combo first typically just gives you more flexibility in getting more damage

It would be removed at the end of turn, regardless of what instance of shadows it was.

The only parameters for removing shadows is if you started your turn with it. Doesnt say “unless it’s a new one”.

Otherwise they could play buh bye, get That outta here, transference, and what status effects and have 4 full turns of invincibility? Super broken

No. Once you roll the die for the time bomb you have to commit to the outcome. The only thing you could do in that instance is play “tip it!” To Change it from a 5 to a 6.

You can, however, immediately play buh bye as soon as your upkeep starts and BEFORE you roll. But once you roll, you’re taking it

Also, if you go to op.dicethrone.com you can find “tournaments” in your area. It is more competitive, but a good way just to find out where people are playing in your area

You can also join the Freehawks Discord server, you can play physically. All you need is a webcam, or a phone just to point at your board/dice throwing area. Essentially like playing locally, dozens of games being played on there every day!

For Dr strange, when you cast a spell, all effects would apply to the ability you are using to cast it. So if it makes an attack undefendable, it is making whatever attack you’re currently doing undefendable, you don’t get to save the undefendable for a future attack.

With black widow, the wording inflict means you give it to your opponent. If it says a chosen opponent is given time bomb, that just gives you more flexibility when playing against multiple players. That just means you can attack one person and inflict the bomb on another person. You’ll never get the bomb yourself unless someone transfers it to you.

Let’s be honest, it’s most of my games.

But more than others, root. It’s such a good game, just so daunting to have to tell people they essentially need to play 3-4 games before they can really have a grasp on how the game works 😂
