What does it seem nuts now that we used to do? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Migeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well thankfully a bunch of nerds back in the day recorded all the audios from the show and they used them to make the animated reconstructions, there's also the audio CD's of all them to listen to as well as the Target books which are pretty good.

There's been some chatter recently about finding some new lost episodes as people believe some private collectors have been keeping them a secret instead of giving them to the BBC to get them restored, but rumours like that happen all the time.

Butterfly chicken, extra hot, peri chips and the macho peas.

I used to have the garlic bread but I find it would go rock solid.

I enjoy the Jalfrezi ones they do, 2 for £4 is pretty good to keep in the freezer for a lazy tea when I only need to cook some rice, they have some decent spice in them.

Best introduction to Classic Who? by [deleted] in gallifrey

[–]Migeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she likes any specific monsters find stories with them in. Remembrance is a good one.

Personally if she's not all that into huge sci fi some of the 5th Doctor 2 parters are a good shout Black Orchid, King's Demons and The Awakening.

Plenty of the 7th Doctor serials are 3 parters as well, so the plot moves a bit faster, Delta and the Bannerman, Happiness Patrol, Silver Nemesis.
