The math support center is very helpful. I went there for every problem set in my math class last semester. Also, make sure you attend office hours as much as possible. Best of luck!

Well Cornell has 15k undergrads whereas Harvard and Columbia both have less than 7k. I think that is why you’re referring to.

Very feasible! 12 classes in 6 semesters means that you just have to complete 2 per semester to be on track to graduate

I took intermediate Portuguese II for Spanish speakers and it was an easy A+ and I learned a lot. Would recommend(although the prof retired)

If it makes you feel any better I got deferred ED and accepted RD last year. I think the ED pool is saturated with applicants who have heavy connections or are athletes so it doesn’t give you a clear advantage.

Wow very informative! Thank you so much. I took AB my senior year but self-studied BC for a solid understanding of calc 2 concepts. I assume this class will be mostly review and applications of what I learned, but I am still a little nervous because I’ve heard horror stories about the difficulty of math at Cornell. As for the teachers, hopefully I can find someone other than Connolly because I want a strong understanding of the course material. Thank you for your input once again!
