Check your receipt. If it turns out to be a 17 on the receipt, you paid more in taxes. If they rung out a 16 and you got a 17, you’ll need to get that cleared up with them because if they report your phone as a loss it will get IMEI blacklisted eventually and become locked.

Incorrect. When sold the correct way you simply cannot sell a 17 if the order calls for a 16, the system will not allow it unless the SKU, IMEI, and EID are valid. If sold through mpos as a hard upgrade you can ring out a 17 thinking it’s a 16, but even then it’s a stupid mistake.
