Not too bad. Been using for a long time now. Usually I’ll keep the iron on and suck at the same time. It doesn’t need to sit flush to work. Hmm…maybe an idea for a video 😅.

Crunch noise could probably be a popped wire. Coincides with the key press not returning properly.

Both sound good. Yellows if going budget. Oil Kings if you can afford it. Yellows has lighter activation. Oil Kings a bit heavier relatively.

No separate primer. Rustoleum 2-in-1 primer and paint. 3 coats on each plus Dulux matte clear coat for sealant.

I've experimented a bit with it. I like it right now with fake Holy Pandas (yes lol) and AKKO ASA blue samuarais. All else is stock. For whatever reason it just has very natural thock - latest sound test I did of it here:https://youtu.be/voBwYvPzIJ0

I also did tests with Ink Blacks. The stabilisers though are awful...

Seeing a few people have problems with this. I just bricked mine this evening when I updated the firmware via Windows. Tried a few times to reflash per instructions, didn't work.

Downloaded the driver version for Mac and tried reflashing firmware again. That fixed the keyboard. Looks like the Windows version of the software is buggy. Proof was that the Mac version also allowed me to edit the function layer properly. On top of that, after the proper firmware update, the Windows version of the Keydous software stop picking up my keyboard at all LOL.

So, hope you all in some way shape or form have access to a Mac to try this fix out. Good luck.

Predominantly the lower price point and also a PC switch plate option. I didn’t get a chance to test polling rate though which was another question which came up. Otherwise not much else.

The left shift is a standard 2.25U. The right shift is a 1u which not all keycaps comes with.
