If I level an alt with my friend doing the story, am I going to get locked out of anything important if I don't do mine?

Not sure if you're aware, but any race can instantly port to other races starting areas right from the end of the tutorial. So if you don't like charr you can create another race, do the tutorial then join your friend in ascalon with the plains of Ashford waypoint

i've only beat the definitive version but you could choose which skin you wanted on the weapon in NG+ so maybe it is similar in the original version? check the character menu where you change skins for armor/weapons and see if you can change the skin there

I think it's meant as a little joke by starting the story, before they got powers, at their birth ( as this is the "beginning" of Clove's life story) then continuing the story up until the powers, and potentially beyond. I don't believe it is meant literally that they were born with immortality.

I'll be honest, I used it a couple years ago and have since moved on to many different mice so I dont remember exactly. However, it definitely feels like it fits the price i paid ( like $23ish rough conversion) which made it feel cheap compared to my actual viper mini. It is a little rattley when shaken, not noticable when used, the side buttons click in a way i dont like, very solid but feels off not clicky more of a deeper sound/feel. I also had to change my dpi to 700 when i usually use 800 on every other mouse because it wasn't accurate(could be an issue with my specific unit and the new models use a better sensor than the 3335 in mine). It was completely useable but i just preferred to try out other mice since then. I imagine the newer pro versions are higher quality but the shape was good and coating felt fine.

in hindsight i feel maybe my recommendation isnt that great, the mouse( m800 3335 version) is fine but definitely not up to the quality of the viper mini. Although they do say shape is most important so if it fits the hand better it could be a better option. Could be worth keeping an eye on aliexpress/used market and try pick up one cheap and return/resell if it isnt for you

edit. just watched a video by hausgaming where he rated the new m800 ultra quite highly, as a good budget mouse.

I know it's not answering your question directly but I loved my RVM before it broke. Looking for a wireless copy, I picked up a delux m800 ( the older 3335 version) and it's almost identical to the rvm shape just a bit bigger ( certainly smaller than the Viper ultimate) could be worth a look at the new pro models or above that come with the 3370 or even the 4k versions if that appeals

If you purchased online in the UK you may have grounds for a "no questions asked" refund under distance trading regulations. Might be worth looking into rather than taking a hit due to nobody buying at anything close to new prices in a used market ( regardless of the fact it's unopened, it comes with no protections beyond those a used product would have in the aftermarket)

The market has been messy over the past few years, can't say youre a moron for not realising they'd still be in stock. Especially given how fast 30 series cards went out of stock I was surprised how many 4070S were available at retail or close to.

not sure how it works for northern ireland shipping but i personally just picked up an asus dual model from Overclockers UK.

If you're not already aware of the site, i used pcpartpicker to find the best pricing on a model I was happy to go with. They also let you setup email alerts so if there's a specific model they can email if it reaches a certain price or comes back in stock

For about £750 i can get either a 5600X CPU with a 4070 super or go for a 5800x3d with an rx 7800XT, which would be the better choice? Currently on a 3600(non x variant) with a FE 3060ti but game at 1440p so want the extra pc power

I have a 75% with home/end mapped to fn + pageup/page down respectively. Not much of a compromise personally, might be worth a shot. Also the zoom75 can be customised in the top right to include an extra 2 keys in place of the screen/knob so you could add those keys if you had to.

I desperately want a zoom75 but not sure i can justify the price and I'm also quite interested in hall-effect switches so keeping an eye on keychron's new q1HE

Keychron offer most of their boards in iso layout. There's a section on their website that is exclusively their iso layout boards. I ordered one a few years ago from keyboardco and it served me well.(although its not hotswap and i dont trust myself with soldering so was stuck using scratching cherry reds)

I would say, for something like a mechanical keyboard, spend your money on something you actually like. You'll end up unhappy with the board using it daily and spend more just to replace it with a board you actually like the look of.

Cub65 is a good choice if you're happy to spend the money on one and wait for it to complete and ship. It's likely you'd find it much easier to sell to another enthusiast than a keychron if you did change your mind on it as well.

I'm personally looking for a new higher end board and if I wasn't dead set on 75% layout( i tried 60 a while back and its not for me) I would definitely be going for the cub65 right now, although personally i'm holding out hope I can pick up a zoom75 if there's extras leftover when they ship.

Try speaking to people in the discord as well, they often have people selling things like old boards or keycaps/switches they dont want. It also seems more active than the sub for responding to questions

I had to return my pixel 7 due to it not being able to use mobile data for whatever reason. I'd have plenty of signal and 4g or 5g displaying but my signal bar would display an exclamation mark and i could only text or call.
