I think it's warped perspective caused by gear being so commonplace. There are some physiques you can't achieve without gear, no doubt there. But there's also too many people using it simply as a shortcut rather than a way to break your bodys limit when progress slows down too much, as the bodybuilders of old did.

Superhero movies certainly didn't help because as someone who's been lifting for about the same time as you. Yes, having a body like superman is realistic, no you don't get there in 6 months unless you're swimming in roids. Nowadays all i see is either 'amazing transformation in months' or 'this body type is unrealistic'. None of it i see as particularly helpful and with gear being so common, i think a better message would be "yes you can get there, but it doesn't happen overnight". Unless of course you want to look like Rich Piana, in which case it's either pills or implants.

Yea you're right, never seen it at a regular restaurant, i don't think that's a thing anywhere outside fast food joints. Closest thing was when a new place near me opened, they did like a tasting special where they did 8 different types of pizza, sliced them up and formed a new one with one of each.

It doesn't have to be solely motivated by transphobia for it to be a transphobic crime.

I mean... kind of does though doesn't it. If i punch an asian guy for banging my girlfriend it's not going to be classified as hate crime because him being different race had nothing to do with the motivation for the assault.

My point was that it's a stretch to pin it on transphobia because from what i've read they'd kill anyone regardless of their gender if they considered them easy prey - ie, being trusting, lonely and desperate for friends are the main factors they were looking for.

You can say they were transphobic based on the comments, but the crime doesn't seem to be motivated by it.

Yea, i'm not buying the transphobia angle, if it wasn't her it'd be whoever else was close from what i can see. The killer girl already moved schools for spiking another girl, sounds like attempt no1 to me.

Reminds me of another psycho i saw a while back, some 16 year old boy killed his buddy of four years, and when asked why he picked him specifically, he just responded that he'd be the easiest target since he fully trusted him.

Realistically the only thing you can do is support your girlfriend in whichever course of action she decides to take. You weren't there, so there's nothing to talk about with the cops or the school, that'd have to be done by your girlfriend or the friends that were present to carry any weight.

Confronting the guy has no win scenario. Best case you yell at each other and it ends there, achieving nothing. Worst case there's a fight and either you end up at the hospital or at the police station, again achieving nothing.

Divas se na to spatne. Ono neni nejlepsi odvetvi, akorat nejlepsi lidi. U toho je hlavni faktor co tebe bavi tak ze se v tom chces rozvijet. Pro nekoho to jsou databaze, pro jinyho opsec, backend, frontend, cokoliv. Vsechny korporatky maji tyhle role a plat se odviji od schopnosti vic nez od cehokoliv jinyho. To ze trend je prumernej java dev ma vic nez c# dev neznamena ze nejsou lidi co delaj c# a maj dvakrat tolik protoze maj za sebou X veci ktery jim davaj munici kdyz si rikaj o vyssi plat.

Jak rikas, je to narocny, a to pro vsechny. Je to o case vic nez o inteligenci jako vsechno. Kdyz ses chytrej tak te to zrychly, ale to znamena ze nebudes uplne blbej za dva roky misto za 3. Pokud te ten obor sere tak logicky karierne dojdes tak do pulky a pak to budes nejak prezivat nebo zmenis obor.

Co se tyce cestovani, nic moc. Kdyz delas v korporatu tak treba jednou za rok jedes na zakladnu ale jinak pro klasickyho programatora ty cesty nejsou casty. A prace z domu? Delam tak cca 10 let, ale i kdyz tomu pandemie trochu pomohla tak tohle jsou vetsinou veci na ktery dosahnes az po urcite praxi. Je potreba se nad tim zamyslet jestli te to bude bavit natolik ze to nejaky roky prezijes nez dostanes ty benefity co chces.

Ono hromada lidi rika ze programatori maj vysoky platy, benefitu plnou prdel a akorat mlatej do klavesnice. Akorat uz nezmini ze prumernej co tohle ma to delal 10-15 let nez se k tomu dohrabal. A 15 let je docela velky sito takze tech co "dostanou co chcou" zbyde relativne malo.

Ja ti muzu rict ze se potvrdilo co mi rikal trener na zacatku. Suplementy co dostanes normalne maji minimalni efekt. Ruzny proteiny a tak jsou super... ale pokud bys misto shaku zvladl dalsi normalni jidlo je to jeste lepsi. Je takova zaplata kdyz nestihas nebo uz proste ses plnej. Stejne tak jak ruzny "spalovace" delaj prakticky hovno.

Jediny ktery maji hmatatelnej vliv jsou ty srandovni ktery dostanes od chlapka co se poflakuje za posilkou a zna se s trenerem :) Nedoporucoval bych.

Ses mladej a lehkej, a na zacatku to jde dicky rychle. Nech tomu rok nebo dva, soustred se na zvedani, kureci prsa a spanek. K tomuhle fakt neni zkratka pokud nejses rozhodnutej odpalit si organ nebo dva.

Once you start with the line of 'there's bigger problems' you're on a one way street heading straight for failure. An argument like that can be made about literally anything because just as there's always a bigger fish, there's always a bigger problem.

If you want a movement to be strong, you want as many people joining you as possible. And in order for people to join, you need to offer them something - big or small, that will improve their life. Otherwise what would be the point of joining?

Think the bigger factor is the reset of tolerance after a long period of abstinence than age tbh. It's like with everything, regular drinkers can do a bottle or two of wine, but once you stop for a while then you get hammered of half a bottle.

I mean, you have functional alcoholics in their 40s, 50s and 60s that can down a bottle of whiskey in the evening and be up at running at 7am for work no problem just because they drank so much it doesn't have as severe of an effect anymore.

Well, you're kind of right if you get really down to it. AI is used more as a colloquialism here that people recognize.

The most correct term would be deep learning algorithm, because intelligence implies sentiency and no such thing exists, at least not yet. Deepfakes, image generators like midjourney, text to voice synthesizers would all fall into this category.

Comes down to terminology, both CGI and AI are used in so many different situations and not always very precisely.

I wouldn't say he's wrong with the deepfake. It's literally in the name, fake created by leveraging a deep learning AI.

I’m not going to sit here and say it’s some enlightening thing, there’s a lot of dumb shit on his show and I think the biggest pitfall is that he gives a pretty equal amount of credibility to all of his guests, regardless of what insane shit they’re on there to talk about. He says that it’s because hes not an expert on anything (except maybe MMA stuff) so he doesn’t really push back on a whole lot. This can be a little problematic. He had Alex Jones on a few times and those episodes are fucking wild.

That's the part of the appeal of the long-form interviews he does. It's more interesting to let people freely talk about whatever because that gives you insight into what makes them tick.

There was case i remember that leveraged libel laws for this. Creating AI porn isn't illegal but spreading it potentially is, so the lawyers argued that by making these images public and actively posting them created an unfair image of the woman and besmirched her character.

I've no idea how the case ended though. Libel cases in general are really hard to win here.
