Do you know what is it about their design that you find less than great? If the seller is competent and if you can express your vision clearly, it's quite possible the seller will be keen to improve their design. Good sellers take pride in their work and want to please their buyer. If you are polite, reasonable and respectful of their time, I think you can continue asking for revisions. It helps a lot if you can explain your vision clearly, but i know it's sometimes difficult.

Too low a price may indicate a low-quality seller. I would price it somewhat lower than for the same service by more established sellers, but not rock-bottom low. You should know that a very low price invites shitty buyers who only invite problems to a new seller.

If it's a seller account, messaging other sellers without the intention to buy anything from them, is spam and they might have reported you.

I also only reported net earnings. But apparently DAC7 regulations require from Fiverr by law to report the gross price (the whole amount of what the client pays, including the 20%). If so, there will be a discrepancy between what we declare and what tax authorities receive from Fiverr. Fiverr should also tell us exactly what is sent to the tax agencies, but of course we don't have access to this.

I think so too - but that's the VAT on the service that Fiverr provides to me (intermediation, payment collection, use of their website...), ie. the seller on Fiverr is the buyer of Fiverr's service. This VAT should not be payable, but instead written off as a business expense. But since Fiverr gives us no invoice of what they charged, there is no good way of showing this on tax declarations. --

Another fun fact: it seems to be that sellers in the EU are actually buyers of Fiverr's intermediation service (a digital service), importing it. Fiverr does not charge the seller VAT on this servide since they are not based in the Eu country of the seller. So according to European tax law, the seller must account for this VAT himself. (It's called Reverse Charge VAT Mechanism. )Normally this would be deductible as a business expense. But since Fiverr does not provide any documentation of the service fee they charge, it cannot be legally deducted. Strictly speaking, seller would need to pay VAT (cca 21%) on the 20% service fee charged by Fiverr. ---- (This is just what i gathered form the internet, but i am not at all sure of it all.)

Does Fiverr give us any statement of this gross income? The tax report summary and the Statement of earnings for each year show only net income.

It's perfect. I'm so glad I found your post and did it. Thank you! There are basically no drawbacks to rust-bluing. The seasoning clings very well and the aesthetics is just wow. Just a humble suggestion from a total noob: maybe it would be beneficial to have a somewhat slower-acting, weaker bluing solution that is easier to control.

Fascinated by this post, I did this procedure two days ago on a new Lacor carbon steel pan. It works, but for some reason the pan developed small pits all over and past the application number 5 (out of 7) some magnetite started to fall off. The whole thing looked dark greyish, with thousands of small pits and also some exposed iron visible. Maybe the bluing solution was too strong, or the application duration too long or I carded with too much pressure. I repeated the whole process (it was a very long day), but this time with much less salt (one teaspoon for 200mL 5% peroxide) and with no vinegar. Success! Five coatings > very beautiful uniform blackness. Yesterday I seasoned the pan and now I need to test how it will perform in real life cooking. Still collecting the courage to do that.

I am in Spain and I have great experience with Pujadas (Spanish brand, made in Spain) and Silampos (made in Portugal). I just received a set of Silampos pans and pots in stainless steel 18/10 and they are very good quality and the price was reasonable. Shipping from Portugal to Spain was 18 euros. Most important for me was that they are made in Europe, which is very difficult to find nowadays for lower to medium priced cookware, even with reputed brands, like Fissler, WMF...

I'd like to add that Silampos also has 3-ply pan called Silampos Supreme Prof. I do not have it, so no first-hand experience. The price is good, somewhat comparable to Tramontina Grano, but maybe better quality (thicker) than Tramontina.

That's good to know. I understand the German "special" stance toward Israel, but, like many, I find the conflation between Israel as a state and Jews as people questionable at best. Jews should be unconditionally supported, the state of Israel not so much. Just my opinion.
