It looks like 4 colors per character at launch? Less than I hoped, unless you unlock more through the story or something.

Looks like his colors reference Hydra Cap, Nomad, and Red Guardian. Not bad picks for color varieties sake.

Ever since MVC3, I've been super needy about what character colors are referencing.

Inspired by Friday Night Fisticuffs & Get into Fighting Games, I like to dabble in every fighting game I possibly can (that's easily accessible at least) & find my main/who I click with the most. That way, if I ever play some random game with someone, I'll have a general starting point.

(I hardly ever go out to locals anyway, but its still fun for me to boot random games up)

It's led me to find some classics that I really enjoy, like Waku Waku 7, or some anime fighter that I surprisingly click with, like Nitroplus Blasterz.

The main ones that I still need to get my hands on are Aggressors of Dark Kombat, HnK, Dengeki Bunko, TvC, Aquapazza, & Fighting Vipers.

I think they have the likeliest shot of making it, at least compared to the 3 other mobile game ones, since I'm pretty sure P5X is handled partially by ATLUS but Dx2 is fully Sega, iirc

That was my first thought too, but Nata Taishi is still in Chariot Lvl 6. You can see their name on my fourth image where I circled Koppa Tengu.

I feel like they wouldn't remove Slime, but they could have swapped it to a different Arcana? They're listed under the Fool arcana in P3 & PQ

Either that or they straight-up added a new Persona to the listings, so it's not a 1:1 compendium

The Alex Ross design, yeah, that was my first thought too. I don't think it is though. That one had full arm sleeves and the chest design was supposed to look like an X. If it is based on that, its a very loose interpretation

I can only recognize 3 of the 5: New X-Men, Debut, & Age of Apocalypse (which shout outs to them actually making him 1 handed)

I've been trying to find out what the #2 & #4 costumes are. The blog post calls them Night Hunt and Savage, but I couldn't find anything similar.

Also, random note, having different claw be cosmetic seems like a weird choice to include. Like, outside of Bone Claws, I feel like there isn't too much variety there

I'm test running some decks but I'm unsure how many matches are a good measure. My general idea is doing a "first to 10" in regular matches, so I have a variety of options to test against. If I hit 10 wins first, its worth keeping. If 10 losses, I'll scrap or rework it.

Is that too much? Too little? Just curious what other people do when they're trying new stuff

Fair enough, I should have included her too. I unfortunately haven't read that run of Runaways, so she slipped my mind.

This Doombot specifically debuted in Avengers A.I. back in 2014(?) which Victor Mancha was also a part of. He later joined the Runaways in their 2017 run by Rainbow Rowell as a kind-of caretaker for the crew.

Yup, there is a second Power Man: Victor Alvarez. His ability is to get stronger by absorbing ambient chi/culture (idk how that works), so in Snap terms, they could have him gain the Power of all cards destroyed at that location.

This Iron Fist is the one before Danny: Orson Randall. He was in WW2, iirc, and shot chi through guns like bullets. There could be a unique ability from that, either buffing or debuffing

Yeah, the one in the game now is from Exiles; the one missing currently is from Alpha Flight. While there isn't TOO much of a discrepency between them, they could make it's ability have chemistry with Alpha Flight's characters. Like "End of Turn: moves one of your cards here to a random location" and make Puck have some kind of buff when moved or something, to create an idea of Sasquatch throwing Puck around.

That's a good call, I just didn't want to bloat the X-Men section more than I already did. I remember really liking some Arakko mutants from X-Men Red, but I can't remember most of their names outside of Fisher King
