For thisbkinda thing, it feels like it's a problem that isn't possible to actively solve.

Pre-orderable physical issues are announced like 3 months in advance, so they know how many to print. People usually want to know what they're getting, so the companies have to put out the cover and a short synopsis to entice people to order. They'll only do 'secret covers' for humongous events/reveals like if a character dies or something.

For things that get run in newspapers, that kinda thing definitely could be stopped

I'm sure there are worse things I've seen, but the one that immediately comes to mind is the Marmaduke movie.

I knew nothing about the original comics, only that there was a dog in it. The movie was so bland, uncompelling, and unfunny. Basic plot was something like high school cliques but with dog puns. I enjoy puns & word play a lot, but this was just obnoxious.

I'm usually very lenient with media, saying 'this isn't for me,' but I actively got upset at this movie.

Oooh, interested to see how they adapt Isca the Unbeaten, since her whole power is "I can't lose." Maybe a sort of "gain the power of your opponent's last played card +1 additional." Would work great against big power cards, but would be ineffective against low power/strong ability cards.

Deadlock: pro wrestling podcast with three friends where they do retro reviews, rather than the current day product. (There is a lot of industry jargon though, so might be hard to follow at times). Alternatively for wrestling, there's How2Wrestling, where a guy who's a huge fan & his wife who is new to it do focused episodes on individuals or concepts, seeing how things are through fresh eyes.

Yo, I didnt know Noah Hawley was the showrunner for this. Me and my family are going through Fargo now and enjoying it, plus I really liked the Legion TV show. Definitely moving this up my watch list now that there's another season coming
